Husband has tried several brands of compression socks, and these are the best for several reasons. Compared to other options, these are the best quality for the most reasonable price. Husband is 5'9", 250 lbs, 79yo, and he has alzheimer and heart disease. Putting his socks on is a challenge for him. These socks are easier for him to put on than other brands. I think it's because they stretch more, they are softer, and a better fit. They are a good density knit. He likes the dress sock feel and they are cooler than other dense knits. He wears a metal brace on one ankle and I've noticed that the brace does not fray the socks as easily as some brands do. The size and style of the socks makes the socks easy to put on and comfortable to wear. The first time he wore these socks he told me that he "really" liked them and that they are very comfortable.
