Why did you pick this product vs others?: First of all, the reason I gave this unit a 3 star rating is because it is very well made. As I assembled it, I was pleased with how sturdy it was. Why didn't I give it a five star rating? I purchased the unit because I've heard from others that it is an excellent low-impact way of exercising, particularly for those folks like me who suffer from arthritic knees. I was told it is very helpful in increasing flexibility and reducing stiffness. I currently weigh in at about 270 pounds. I was concerned about how strong the trampoline was, and when I read that the description listed the weight limit at 330 pounds, I was impressed and purchased it based on that confidence. Unfortunately after a quick, easy assembly I climbed aboard for my first workout. Sadly, the trampoline surface sagged under my weight and although there was some bounce, it was far from low impact as each bounce almost touched the floor. It was so jarring that it caused pain in my lower back. I am waiting for my wife to return from an out of town visit to see if she likes it, otherwise I'll have to return the unit. It may support a 330 pound person, but I doubt it, and they most certainly aren't going to get much bounce. If you happen to be one of those cute little size zero models that the promotional ads feature, it will probably be lots of fun and beneficial. Granted, if you weighed 330 pounds I think you'd be smart enough to know you would be pushing the limits, but I'm guessing anyone over say 230 pounds probably won't get much bounce either. UPDATE I initiated the return process, and to my surprise the manufacturer responded with apologies. They upgraded me to a stronger model that supports my weight well. If I have any criticisms, it's that the trampoline can be a bit loud when you're jumping on it (though this might just be due to the fact that the girls get too excited when jumping on it and for my usage, I'm not used to exercising on trampoline at home). Update....the company graciously sent me another trampoline and so far everything is holding up. Updated this review to 4 stars instead of the 1 star originally given. I've had the trampoline for about 6 months. Worked great until the springs started breaking. Flinging little pieces of spring across my room. Luckily nobody was nearby. Very dangerous! The weight limit for this product is over double my weight. It is a cheaper price than most but now I need to find replacement springs that will actually support at least 50% of the weight limit given on this product. Read more
