This is a durable Chicago Bulls drink bottle. The bottle is well designed and has really good water sealing. My son is in 4th grade and is pretty rough on items, but this has stood up to his use. Hydrapeak is a company that started in 2015 and is known primarily for making insulated drinking vessels for people who have active lifestyles. The goal for Hydrapeak was to create great looking products to keep drinks hot or cold for extended periods of time. When I go walk a trail, go play softball, or play some basketball, I usually stay out for multiple hours. I bought this Boston Celtics Hydrapeak 20 ounce water bottle to bring with me when I go play. Although it is titled as a ‘kids’ water bottle, I still consider myself a big kid, so I could justify getting it. I know 20 ounces is only slightly bigger than the 16.9 ounce water bottles I get from the grocery store, but I don’t really drink a whole lot when I walk the trail or play ball. The ice and water I put in this stainless steel bottle stays very cold for hours so I am very impressed with the performance of this. This Hydrapeak is officially licensed by the NBA, so the colors and logos are right on point. The iconic green and white Celtics color scheme on this water bottle looks great. The construction of this water bottle is better than other water bottles I have used. There is a push button lid that is leak-proof. Between sips, you can lock the lid to prevent accidental spillage. There is a white rubber handle near the top that you can use to carry your water bottle, or attach it to a fence or a gym bag if you would like. Hydrapeak stands by the quality of their products and includes a limited lifetime warranty. If you are not a Celtics fan, I believe all of the other NBA teams are available. The only downside I can find about these water bottles is that they are hand wash only. I will be using small brushes and gentle dish soap to scrub mine between each use to prevent any sort of bacteria or mold buildup. Other than that it is a great value at less than $25. So, first thing, this is a well-made and well printed bottle. A little expensive for my taste, given other available options, but I can't really knock it for that. The graphics look fantastic and feel smooth, but not flat in your hand. The button to pop the cover is just OK and is my only gripe. It doesn't work quite as you'd expect, but that might actually be OK as it may keep it from being accidentally opened just by getting bumped. I found that I had to fiddle with the button a bit when I was using it, but you'd get used to it soon enough. The inside is a nice smooth metal, which keeps it sanitary and easy to clean. The top screws on firmly and I found no leaks. I will note that my arrived with some slight damage (the cover had been popped off). By no means is that a knock on the seller or product (who ships a metal water bottle in a bubble bag....) and I'm not taking off points for that. Luckily, I was able to finagle the cover back on again (getting the spring just right was a PITA) and I didn't see anything permanently broken so I'm hoping it's as strong as it was to start. All in all, if you need a great looking water bottle that functions pretty well, you've found it. Read more
