These are wonderful and a worthwhile product! We have a well that tends to get sediment. We do use a prefilter which prolongs the life of the filter as well as a carbon that runs after this one. We have fantastic water that prevents rust stains and tastes delicious! Read more

I had purchased "better" (i.e. more expensive and better filtering) filters for our whole home system. Only to have problems and needing to call a repairman. The service repairman told me that the "better" filters cause systems to needless "jam" up...which was exactly what happened. I had purchased this brand previously but it was out of stock when I needed replacements so I upgraded to a different brand. I showed the repairman the info on these and asked if these would be a better option. He said absolutely! In fact although he came prepared to sell me their filters, he told me to only purchase one from him and to immediately order these from Amazon to use.
