What can I say? It is freaking AMAZING! One of the heaviest keyboards I have ever gotten and built to last that is for certain. The styling of it with the Science theme looks killer! I have a lot of custom mechanical keyboards but none have I seen with such style and detail. The web interface is safe and easy to get you running with your keyboard including TUNING things, such as rapid triggering due to the hall effect built-in (sensors). From Keyboard Testing to mouse pairing to easy firmware upgrades to the main show under Equipment. Change Key Setting - Lighting Setting - Performance - Advanced Key - Macro Setting - Other Setting Those are the choices under each and most are self explanatory. Now most keyboards have this web interface stuff now, but this keyboard also has under Performance to select which key(s) you want Rapid Trigger to be on , Reset your Travel quickly, Continuous Trigger and breaking contact optimization that I haven't tried. Just so much and the professionalism of this keyboard is amazing. I am typing on it right now for this review. The box alone was amazingly cool and well made. As you can see the keyboard is safely packed as this heavy creature needs it! So far it's the heaviest keyboard I have, and I have a lot of them, and it doesn't move unless it wants to move! :D If you can afford it this is the keyboard then get it. Pretty unreal experience—and not just because it’s actually available on Amazon. The Fire68 Ultra is basically a custom keyboard built to perfection for me. Solid and heavy CNC-machined case with a smooth, clean finish; thick PBT dye-sub keycaps to match; the same web-programmable software drivers that brought competitive gaming to the masses at an affordable price; and to top it off, it’s already fully loaded with Gateron Jade Pro switches. It even includes four Jade Gaming switches you can swap in if you want that extra stability from a box stem design. For me, this keyboard is endgame. The sound profile and the build materials are exactly what I’ve been looking for—“hi-fi mahjong sound.” It’s often said about Gateron Jades and magnetic switches in general, but it’s rarely executed this well, with a solid metal case, plate, and internals that produce that deep, clacky, yet faintly crispy mahjong tile sound. Combine those acoustics with performance for gaming? That’s it for me. This keyboard has left me fulfilled—honored, really. It gives me a strange sense of finality, like my journey has reached an ending. If you’re ever at a crossroads between the Fire68 Ultra and one of the budget alternatives, I can recommend going the extra mile on this one.
