These are pretty good quality clips with a padded inner strap that holds my hair securely without catching it. I've used these for keeping up a French twist or a low pony tail. My only complaint is that the acrylic is a little thin and more transparent than other clips I have purchases. That said, the 2 tortoise shell colors are NOT as different as the foto shows but they are still ok looking. Buy them on sale and you will prolly be happy. I have a lot of fine, wavy hair that is shoulder length. Read more

I just got these today, so I can’t speak to long term use, but the blue one went into my hair as soon as I could get it out of the package! It’s gorgeous! It’s been in 6 or seven hours and I’ve fidgeted with it just because I keep thinking about how pretty it is and it shows no sign of struggle or weakening. I am going to go see what other sets they have of these! I’m in LOVE with all three already, but can only wear one at a time. LOL Comfortable! Strong!
