These sheets were a perfect fit for my 15 inch Queen mattress with 2 mattress toppers, totally 18-20in depth. I say 18-20 in because the pillow top can vary in fluffiness and height. Giving 5 stars because I'm overall happy and pleased but here are some pros/cons for the curious reader! Pros: 1. These sheets will certainly fit 18-24in depth mattresses with toppers like advertised - no question! So if you were struggling finding deep enough sheets, look no further! There is even spare length to tuck under the mattress on the sides. 2. It is 100% cotton and while they don't have a particularly high thread count (only 400), I didn't notice a difference on my skin between these and the 800 thread count Walmart sheets they replaced. Basically, I'm saying the price is right for the quality. I'm used to inexpensive sheet sets between $20 and $50 and these fit right into the quality I'm used to for the price range. 3. Arrived right on time brand new with no rips, holes, tears, stains or fraying. Neutral: 1. Its not really cooling but its also not really hot either. I find its fine for temperature distribution. Not outstanding in either arena for heating or cooling effects. Cons: 1. These are NOT wrinkle free or wrinkle resistant. The fact that they are advertised as such is a farce. Clearly in my pictures there are wrinkles-a-plenty! Even after a wash and dry there were still plenty of wrinkles. They're cotton though! I expected wrinkles so I knew the claims of being wrinkle-free were total baloney before I even bought these. 2. I bought "light grey" and I suppose you could consider this light grey but it was about 3 shades darker than my previous "light grey" sheets so its still kind of a dark light grey. 3. The non-fitted sheet is smaller/shorter than the fitted one. In one of my pictures you can see that the non-fitted sheet is a couple inches shorter so it doesn't cover the depth of my mattress and toppers fully. If you're one of those people that likes to do hospital corners for the non-fitted sheet, or likes to be able to tuck the non-fitted sheet under the mattress then this sheet set may not be for you. Finally! A deep pocket fitted sheet that fits my 15" mattress plus 3" foam topper!! 18", so -called "deep" pocket sheets have never stayed on my mattress. This one truly does, with plenty of extra coverage. It goes way under the mattress and has a heavy duty elastic binding around the whole sheet. It feels like it will last a long time. No more elastic straps needed to hold the bottom sheet in place. Yay!! (they didn't work well anyway) One thing I did find odd: the bottom sheet I got had a seam down one side. I've never seen that before. Maybe it's there to allow for the extra depth or maybe I got a sheet from the end of the run and they had to add extra fabric to be able to make one more king size sheet. I'll never know unless someone else mentions it in their review. But the seam is very well finished (is it called a french seam?) and doesn't look like it will wear out. Other reviewers mentioned that the top sheet and pillow cases are skimpy. I agree about the top sheet-it seems like it should probably be 8-12 inches longer to accommodate the thick mattresses these sheets were supposedly made for. Kind of strange that the designers/manufacturers didn't think of this!! The pillow cases are fine BUT there are only 2 of them. I didn't think of this when I bought this because all the sets I've bought recently came with 4 pillowcases. I'm thinking most king size beds these days have 4 pillows on them. Some reviewers said the sheets are scratchy. I wouldn't say that but they are a little coarse-they don't have a smooth finish. All in all, I'm satisfied with my purchase. Yes! These are COTTON sheets! They feel crisp and cool, yet soft! They are slightly more sheer than I expected, but they have plenty of “body”. I love snuggling in them when I go to bed, and I am convinced that if they were thicker (or heavier fabric) they would be too hot. I do sleep hotter than my spouse. These sheets do not make me sweat at all. My husband says he sleeps comfortably temperature-wise, too, and he typically stays cold. I always wash new linens before using them. I washed in cold water and dried on medium heat They came out of the dryer slightly, but not overly, wrinkled. I did not feel they took too long to dry, and I felt no ironing was needed. Never, ever ironing! I typically change my linens weekly, but I got busy and skipped a week when I first used these. I definitely noticed these sheets felt fresh even when I finally took them off to laundry. The fitted sheet has elastic all the way around. The extra deep pockets give me an extra 6 inches or so… all the way around the bed…to tuck under the bottom mattress. No more problem with corners popping off the mattress at night! The flat sheet covers both mattresses on both sides of the bed, and has enough length to tuck at the foot of the bed. The king pillow cases fit my gusseted pillows perfectly with enough room for my pillows to expand fully in between the seams. There is an extra fold of fabric near the end opening to help conceal the pillow and to hold the pillow inside the case. I ordered white. The color was even throughout these linens. My set was sewn well and had no flaws. They have been washed and dried twice without any issues. I am happy with this high quality set and plan to order another set, or two.
