This is the perfect gift. It is high quality, funny, thoughtfully designed (has a card that explains how the heart works, etc.) and is clean and soft and comforting out of the box!! I know it is just a plushie, but I was super impressed that this company has avoided the temptation to cut corners and use cheaper materials or fill it with some squishy / lame filling or use scratchy fabrics. Love this heart plush! It's perfect as part of my boyfriend's Valentine's Day present, and it will be the start of a tradition because I want to get him each one in the I Heart Guts collection as he goes through that organ system in medical school. It is well made with sturdy stitching and seams. It is a great size, it was actually bigger than I thought it would be in the mail. My boyfriend loved it when I gave it him and actually showed it to all of his friends too. I don't know how "anatomically correct" it truly is, but he was happy with it so I am as well. I actually got this as a gift for a young medical student. They thought it was fantastic and fun! It is bigger, about the size of a piece of standard paper. She has it in her dorm room as a funky pillow on her bed!! ha ha!! It is well made, seams are tight and stuffing is full. It wasn't misshapen at all. Got this for a gift for my husband.I have a lot of health problems, so I gave it to him with a band-aid on it and made some little acccesories like a playset. I'm not good at being romantic. :P It's nice, but be aware it's very flat, like a pillow, it's not rounded like a real heart. You could use it like a very small pillow, which is kind of novel.
