Beautifully carved and enjoyed, takes some breath work, only thing I say is my bit of an issue is that the holes are a little too big, or I'm holding it wrong with the finger placement. It sounds absolutely lovely and sweet, and I enjoyed this a lot, even if it's gonna take a little work to git gud son 😜 It's worth it, just know you gotta be pretty well off in breath work/practices. Horrible purchase. Opened up the package. It was raw wood not even finished, the holes that were drilled out weren't even cleaned up it still had splinters. #1 Only 2 holes play notes #2 only 3 holes play notes. The sound is terrible, and the Holes require more work. It has a nice appearance, however the flute requires more work because the mouthpiece is not properly made. It is preferable to purchase from an American company that traditionally manufactures flutes in the traditional manner. This purchase left me very disappointed. Read more

I wasn't expecting this handmade instrument to play so well. It plays almost the same as the factory-made lower-keyed Irish tin whistles. I use the exact same music and the same playing style as I do with my Irish tin whistles and the low whistles. I say that this "Indian Glance Traditional Wooden Flute" from India is appropriate for any age. I could have learned on this handmade 6-hole flute instead of on the Irish Tin Whistles manufactured in a factory. You use the breath control as you do for the low whistles. This is a satisfactory purchase and I will enjoy playing it for many years. If you play professionally, then you want the ones made in the factory. Read more
