I've been using this phone holder in my personal vehicle for over a year. The spring loaded arms are super strong. Getting the phone in and out can be difficult and may require two hands depending on your phone, hand strength, and dexterity. To me, it is worth it, to know that the mount is going to do its job and never let go of the phone. It would be ideal for off-road driving or any rough use situation. I am thinking about buying one to use on my forklift at work where every bump in the floor is transferred through the frame of the vehicle. It would also be great for golf carts. It may be worth mentioning for some people, that mounting this in a vehicle requires other pieces that do not come with it. In my car I use a suction cup. On the forklift I will use a very large magnet that claims to be 95 lb pull strength. The suction cup has let go a couple of times and i had to clean and remount it, but the holder never let go of the phone. Even the magnet will probably fail before the holder lets go of the phone. It is well made and I have learned how to get the phone in it with one hand in seconds. The only tiny thing wrong with it is the little foam or rubber pads that were inside the arms have come off. This might be a problem if you didn't have a strong case on your phone. It will accommodate fairly thick cases. My case is almost 5/8" (about 15 mm). Read more

Not the easiest phone holder to get your phone out of, but it definitely will never fall out, even in an accident. Read more

Super strong grip. Works very well. And isn't bulky or an eye-sore (ram mounts). I can see this phone holder working great with off-road & overland drivers. My only complaint is you need to use both hands to attach & take off. Quality product nonetheless. I also ordered iBOLT arms for the phone mount, they're awesome. Read more

Works very well but itβs a little hard to remove your phone from it,that also could be considered a good thing because it holds so well. Read more

This is the phone holder I've been looking for, for ages. I ride all kinds of roads, and I need a mount that can confidently and firmly hold my heavy devices in place. This thing does exactly that. Read more

I live on a dirt road, and travel it daily. I was concerned this holder might not grip well enough without a safety net. So I bought the rubber web stuff used on the competition products, just until I could confirm it holds up. I only used the rubber corner grips on a few rides before I decided the clamp does a great job. It has a very nice grip on the device and I believe it will slip long before it released the phone. Great job, really love the rubber on the side arms AND back plate. Looks a lot nicer when there is nothing in it than the more common RAM mount. So far no signs of any type of failure. Read more

I purchased this to replace the Ram Mount X-Grip I have in my Tundra. I'm constantly losing the rubber pieces on the X grip plus the top 2 mash the value and power button on my iphone so it's constantly trying to make an emergency call. This thing is an easy swap with the 1 inch ball. It grips my phone really well. I wouldn't say it's the jaws of life or anything like other reviews mentioned. Really good for a truck. Read more

Fitted an Andriod 10 plus with rugged case. BARELY. But it did fit. :) So I have a RAM mount on my Harley handlers. Although RAM replaced the rubber ends for free it's a pain to loose 3 in a year. So I'm trying this. Right off I can tell u the RAM is stronger and more secure. However I think this is a close 2nd. I'll know more after my ride tomorrow. Also. The ball mount that goes behind the phone makes the phone stick out pretty far. I had to use a 3 elbow. Bend from RAM to keep it close to the handlebars. 9.24.20 Update: so I just did a 2,600 mile trip. 6 hours was in tropical rain storm that hit Panama city (UGH) my stupidness (new word for Webster) tried to leave and get from Tennessee to Daytona and get UNDER the storm led me to ride THROUGH the storm ( dare I trust the weather people again). Anyway that whole trip, rain or shine, the phone holder did great. It was secure and no issues with the phone slipping or sliding. Only two things to discuss. One, this is definitely a two handed operation with getting the phone on/off. it is that tight. And two, it is a little bit of a chore to adjust the phone for left/right. I had it set perfectly but as you get the phone on/off over time the mount shifted and it takes a second to adjust. NOT a deal breaker but worth mentioning. Read more
