We recently purchased a new drip coffee brewer; of course the drip system requires lid over ground compartment & lid for adding water...Overhead cabinets prevent performing these functions...The Elegant Sliding Tray was a great solution! I've had several of these trays for some time now. These things are great, durable and easy to clean and use. They give you the versatility that you need in every kitchen. I can see them for other uses, but in the kitchen, they are great. The functionality and ease of use is far better than I thought. They fit right where I want and need them. This is an amazing tool for your heavy kitchen counter appliances. I am using mine for a large, counter top water filtering station. When the water tank if filled with 170ml of water, it is so heavy you cannot move it, at all. Once I put it on the solid wood, sliding tray, I can move it with 1 single finger. Amazing! It has metal wheels on the bottom that handle the weight and glide so easily and smoothly, I was shocked. The wood is sealed and so far, 100% waterproof. I have tried the silicone mats intended for appliances to slide across the counter. They are “ok”, but not great. Compared to this wooden tray with wheels, I would rate them: ………….. The media could not be loaded. This tray is stylish, sturdy, slides well without scratching my counters, and makes accessing my Breville super easy before tucking it back out of the way again. My husband, who is not a coffee drinker but has learned how to make coffee for me, also appreciated the tray. For reference I ordered the 12x16 and my machine sits on it well.
