This is my 2nd icarcover for my 1998 VW Cabrio. The first one lasted 4 years, which is great considering it is parked outdoors with many trees surrounding it. This latest one I just received fits great & covers the entire car with the elastic holding it evenly. It's a lighter blue/grey color than the last one, which was more silver. If I get another 4 years, this is a good value for me. Read more

Cover is thick and provides great protection. Photo 1: It is large enough BUT the mirror pockets prevent it from being pulled back enough to secure it on windy days. I've had to resort to an additional cord (form another cover) to keep it secure. Photos 2-3: Concerned that there are scratches on the windshield (NOT caused by wipers) and paint which appear to be caused by something plastic. The scratches are on the surface like done by a crayon rather than a stylus, but haven't figured out what is causing them. They come right off when polishing/washing but . . . Photo 4 is from Oct 2024--not even a full three months in and the outer layer is cracking. I suspect the cover is no longer water resistant. No warrantee. Do NOT recommend. Photo 5 is from Nov 2024. Not even four months and outer layer is peeling. Cover is no longer water proof. Looking for replacement already. Strongly do NOT recommend. Read more
Ok I have now open and put the cover on my car. My car is a 370z touring coupe. The cover is nothing like the picture the show. Which is what drawn me to order it. As far as being heavy it is not. It did come with straps, but I did not receive the optional cable or cable lock. I ordered the size that said it fit my car based on my car measurements, but it doesn't cover it completely like my Nissan cover did. The width is good but the length could have been a trade bit longer to go under front of the car. It's a sports car so there you go. I put the cover on my car on the 13th and it snowed on the 16th, so I will see how that worked out. I will include a picture of the fit with this review. I will probably get my own straps because these are not quite in the right place for my car, however I did say that it wasn't heavy or hanging like the picture but it is the basically the same weight as the Nissan cover but not as good fit as that one. But for the money I can't complain. It looks good on my car except for the part I mentioned. But I think once it warms up a little I will be able to manipulate it to a correct fit. The first cover I purchased didn’t fit completely. I contacted the company and after a few emails I received another cover that fits much better. If the cover does/doesn’t hold up over the winter months I’ll edit my review w pictures. Yep came back home after being overseas for the military to find the cover didn’t hold up at all. Read more
I bought this to protect my car from pine pitch. The flannel-ish liner is easy on the finish, seams are good and the outer fabric seems waterproof and durable - time will tell. Bought it for a VW GTI (168-169”). This is supposed to fit up to 170” but doesn’t cover the whole back end, but I tucked it into the back hatch and don’t have to use the straps to hold it down, which I prefer anyway. It’s a little tricky to put on the car but assume will get easier after I do it a few times. The price was right - I paid $60 for it “used like new.” Read more
Pretty good quality, but this is my third one. I only get one summer out of them, then they crack and start leaking. All three have been different, too. This latest one is a light blue instead of gray, and the straps no longer snap into place, but have to be threaded through every time, which is annoying. Read more
Bought this hoping that the underside would be soft and not scratch my car. This is perfect! Looks like a cotton or cotton blend on the underside and waterproof on the outside. Has nice elastic ends at front and back of car for a nice fit. A bit heavy, but appears to be made very well!! Even get a carrying bag I can fit it into when not in use. I keep the car in the garage, so can’t speak to water resistance, but it appears very well made and probably does that job well.
