Perfect for hot weather: odorless, breathable, and wicks away moisture better than cotton
I got this t-shirt for my husband. He's the one who introduced me to brands like Smartwool and Icebreaker. I was always skeptical about wearing wool t-shirts or socks in the summer, but these brands do an incredible job of keeping you odor-free for a surprisingly long time. Whether it's for a hiking trip, a demanding job (like my husband has), or just wanting to stay comfortable in the heat, wool is amazing at wicking moisture away from your body. Plus, the natural properties of wool prevent bacteria from growing, which is why it doesn't start to smell. Personally, I find that Icebreaker's fabrics have a nicer feel. They're just softer and more pleasant against the skin. I've seen some other reviewers complain about the cotton content in this shirt. Yes, it's a 50% wool, 50% cotton blend. I think the manufacturer did this to make the t-shirt extra soft and comfortable in the heat. I've noticed they add Lyocell to other models for a cooling effect, so don't let the blend scare you away. My husband was 100% happy with the quality, size, and color. He did tell me to order a size up, though. He usually wears S, but the M fits him perfectly. So if you're a M, I'd definitely go for an L.
