I really do wear this almost every day. It's that comfortable. Cool in summer, warm in winter. I love almost everything about it with the exception of one thing. It drapes down a bit in the bust area, similar to a cowl neck. I think the design is just a little too wide? I'm not sure, but the gap/drape in that area means that it doesn't look smooth underneath anything fitted, which is a bummer. If it didn't have that issue, I'd buy several more of them. The thin round pads that are included (removable) generally stay in place during washing, which is nice. Plenty supportive for a small bust. By the sizing chart, I'm a size xs, but the band is most comfortable for me in a small. I am 5’4” 140lbs. Fit: I bought a large and a small because they were on sale for $30. A medium would have fit me best though. I like the way the large fits my torso, but it gaps so bad at the top and the bra is huge. The small was tight on my torso, didn’t gap at the top, but the built in bra is still pretty large. The pads move around so much. I am a 34A/36AA, but this likely isn’t a problem for larger chested people. Length is perfect on both. Fabric/quality: a little rougher fabric than other merino wool products I’ve had. Maybe it will get softer with more washes. The straps are so thin that they constantly twist a little. Not a huge deal. I don’t feel it, I only see it when I look in the mirror. One of them got a small snag the first time I washed it. Maybe that was my fault though for washing it with other things. Seems to be odor resistant, but not as much as other wool items I’ve owned. Overall, I would say it is not worth paying full price, but definitely worth the quality compromise for the sale price of $30. If I paid full price I would give it 3 stars, not 4. Read more

This is the new, 100% merino version is this top. There isn't much description in the listing, so I was really hoping that this was the older version of this top (that is no longer sold anywhere). It's not. The older version wasn't 100% merino, and didn't gape in the neckline. This top is the newer version with 100% merino (I couldn't feel much of a difference so this wasn't necessarily a negative for me) and while the straps on this one are more comfortable than the old version, I agree with the other reviews - the neckline gapes open on this one instead of laying flat. It's just enough to be annoying. Otherwise, this top is fabulous. It has a built in shelf bra that comes with pads to help add some shape and cover "headlights" lol. I was hoping the shelf bra would be similar to the Siren Bra they sell, with individual cups/ pockets for each breast, but it's not, it's just a regular shelf bra - so the padding can shift around a bit, but not badly. I find the pads stay in place for the most part while moving around. The length is longer (comes down to my hip bones and can be tucked in. I'm 5'7", 135lbs, 34B/C and I can wear both a small (very fitted) and a medium (loose) in this top. I wear a medium in everything in the Icebreaker Siren line (the bra, tank tops, sweetheart neck tops, etc). I find that this top fits just a bit looser than my other Siren tops, so I can make the Small work in this top without it being constricting. Hope this helps! Read more

Comfy and warm and handy because of the cups insert but the neckline gapes open on this one instead of laying flat which is annoying. The designed of this top should be better for the price. Size bigger. I usually wear Small but maybe should have buy X small because of this neckline. Read more
