I love wearing sweater dresses, but once the temp drops below 50, it can make the legs mottled from the cold, even if I did want to suffer for fashion. It's not a good look. I'm a 90s baby, so tights are a great option and look, but often aren't warm enough due to the thin material. I also needed tights for my Dec college graduation because a full length gown felt like too much. So, I initially was looking for normal tights when I came across these. Warm with fleece and a translucent tights look? Heck yea! The price is great for 2 of these when tights that are good quality from Saks or somewhere similar can get pricy quick. However, cheap tights generally run almost immediately. So, I'm glad I found a more substantial option that offers the look of 70 denier tight (denier levels are levels of opaque-ness in tights). I'm 5'4.5", 119 lbs with a 24.5" waist and a 34.5" bum at the widest part of my bum. The small size fit perfectly. It didn't give me a muffin top, but wasn't too loose. I imagine this size would fit someone who has anywhere from a 22-27" waist before looking like it's a bad fit. They are very soft, they feel durable, they are very warm when I'm outside in November in Northern Kentucky (38-60 degree weather). I love these because of the soft fleece inside how they keep my legs feet and booty warm outside walking in the cold. The plus in these particular tights is that they are incredible belly and booty lifting. Holds my stomach in without cutting off my circulation. They are long enough to pull up under my breast area if I wanted too! Lol XL is my size. I am a size 18. Stretch is comfortable, does not rip, thick enough to be effective in 7 degree weather outside. But smooths your pants and skirt to look streamlined and neat under your clothing. These tights are warm, soft, and very comfortable thanks to the fleece lining. They fit well and are great for wearing with dresses or skirts in colder weather. They give the look of sheer tights while keeping you cozy. I did notice a few small discolored spots on one leg, which was a little disappointing, but overall they’re still comfortable and wearable. My college daughter and her friends celebrated nye in Minneapolis so we got her these. They look sheer but are someone thick because they are lined. They were def passable as normal black stockings because of the tan inside layer. Kept her warm while waiting in line to get into a club on on cold MN night! Her bare legged friends froze! They didn't snag or run but she did manage to poke a hole in the toe so unfortunately she only wore once. I'm going to try to sew the hole and see if she can get more wears out of them. Pros: * they’re super soft and warm * they look like normal tights over skin * they’re thin enough that they don’t give you Barbie knees lol * multiple dogs jumped on me while wearing them and they didn’t rip or tear at all Cons: * the top comes up to about my nipple line, so I have to either fold it over and widen my waist in the process or tuck the excess in my bra * the top is really tight * they do, just by nature of the fleece, tend to ride down a little bit (though that’s not really a con, just a thing that happens with fleece lining) Read more
