For $15 this cat-eye retro blue UV light blocking glasses is a good deal. The glass looks great and block around 95% of the UV light. It's made of plastic with metal hinges. The quality is good. Included is a UV test kit and a very large cleaning cloth. It doesn't come with a case nor storage sleeve but there is a plastic bag that you can use to stored it. Mine didn't block blue light

I can see that these have had good reviews, and at first I liked them, they were comfortable and I liked the style but I mine just don't block blue light. It could be that for some reason this particular pair skipped the lens coating but from what I can tell they are just normal glass. I have other blue light blocking glasses where I like the frames less but they do work, I have a test kit and this pair do not work. I also tried several online tests to see and they just don't block blue light. Read more

Attempt #4 on quest to find the perfect blue light glasses. These are really cute. I love the retro, more oval style. My family says these look the best on my square-ish face. They came with a case, cleaning cloth, and blue light tester. They don't feel flimsy and are comfortable on my face. I have a bit of a squarer jaw line so I thought this shape might do well on my face. They are a little on the orange side of a tortoise and I would absolutely get these in a different frame color. I am finding a few things with blue light glasses: they seem to have a slight negative impact on my vision quality (I wear contacts); my eyes felt really tired after wearing them at first so maybe start out with wearing them for an hour and build up; these 2 points left me with a tinge of a headache. I do have the blue light controls on my phone and computer and am not sure if that + the glasses cause additional strain. I was wearing them all day, but my eye doctor says they are really only needed after 3pm to help mitigate any impact of the blue light frequency on our natural sleep patterns. I'll cut back a bit on using them and see no reason to not give these 5 stars. Read more
