Not insulated, great for over pants protection from water. I power wash 6 days a week and these pants are keeping me perfectly dry. Fit well over cargo style work pants. On warm/hot days they are perfect to use as primary pants. Dry in minutes. Dirt, sand and grit fly right off with a shack or two. Easy to fold back up to put back in convenient bag or even in truck side panel. Waist size is accurate for over pants, a little big if wearing alone, but convent waist drawstring is perfect. Inseam length is accurate but I would get 2” shorter tgan my jean size next time. That might be my own fault for not knowing that. I have two pairs of these and I love em! I ride my ebike to work 5 days a week & since I work 230 to 11 it's often very chilly when I ride home. These act like a windbreaker and keep me very warm. They're also 100 percent waterproof! Thanks to the wife leg opening I can even put these on without removing my boots! They have a drawstring waistband and zippered pockets for securing your essentials. I can also roll them up and tuck them away in the included storage bag and they stay outta sight until I need them! The pants fit comfortably, however, there is no way to secure the cuff of the pants as the velcro is located in the wrong spot such that you have an opening several inches larger than your boot. I would have liked to be able to make them snug around the ankle, but you cannot do that with these pants. Read more

Had to size down for the length. Normally wear a 34 but got a 32. Definitely breathable and seemingly durable. The pocket zippers are a nice touch. Not exactly warm but they provide the waterproofing you need. Read more
