I plan on buying another one of these skirt's in a different color because I love the style and fit so much. It is extremely flattering, and as a plus sized and pear shaped person I find it hard to find things that don't feel snug in the wrong places. The skirt has a slick material that makes it easy to clean, but a bit scratchy to wear directly against the skin. Its a lightweight material so it doesn't make me hot to wear layers with it, and the material is thick enough to not be see through. I spent my second time ever wearing it to a 7 hour long concert, as well as walked 3-4 miles in it the same day and it didn't make me too hot to keep wearing it, but I could tell that if I didn't have a shirt tucked into it that the material would have hurt my skin during that time. The corset part works nicely, and there is some extra elastic to give extra stretch and comfort around the waist with or without tightening the ribbons. I suggest completely removing the ribbon when machine washing it, because it will come undone and tangle up with other clothes. I can get into the skirt easily without having to use the zipper (I'm a B cup), but if you have large breasts and would need to unzip do so with caution! 100% polyester and doesn't feel great but it looks nice. Also it came insanely wrinkled, I washed and dried it and it was even more wrinkled.. though I ironed it and now it's fine. Also it's a little big I'm normally a size M so I got a size M and when I put it at my waist it just falls down to my hips, but I'm sure I can fix that with some safety pins Read more
The media could not be loaded. This skirt is perfect with just about everything and it’s the perfect skirt for what it’s worth. Very comfortable lightweight, but also the fabric is thick and not see-through. It does have a little bit of stretch and some ability to tighten it at the waist with the strings provided. Though I do recommend if you are somebody with a thinner waist, possibly size down. As for me a size small fit better on my waist where as a medium would hit around my hips, and I prefer it to be up higher. (I’m 5 foot 5 inches, 130lbs for example). Definitely worth the money. She made an outstanding choice in selecting this skirt, complementing it with a long, red wig to which she meticulously added details, perfectly realizing her Happy Tree Friends ensemble. I am delighted that she pursued her vision, and she thoroughly enjoyed wearing this skirt at Comic Con. I am not sure what chemical was used on this when it was packaged, but it had an absolutely horrid smell to it. I spent more time washing it and trying to get the smell out than wearing it. The actual skirt fit well for what I wanted and was quite comfortable! Read more

1 star bc this skirt is so awkward. Where do I start? I'm a short girl (5'3" and 1/2) and this skirt was kinda long on me even though it's a small. It comes up veryyy high directly underneath the boobs which is fine, I do usually wear high-waisted clothes but this just sits and lays awkward. I tried to see how it would be if I folded the top of the skirt down and it looked a *tad* better but then I'd be losing the top detail altogether, with the lacing and the bow which is supposed to the best part. It has a zipper on the side and it's flimsy and hard to work with especially since I'm curvy and have thick/ wide hips. I literally couldn't get this skirt OFF of me!!! I had to actually CUT the skirt to get it off bc the zipper sucks so bad!!! Imo this skirt is not thick girl friendly! I'll stick with my stretchy skirts that I can actually get off lol. For the price of this skirt I expected so much more. I think it would be cuter on smaller and maybe taller girls. ? Read more
