This coat is awesome in every way. The one complaint I have, as I have had with any of my clothing purchases this year, is that it arrived very wrinkled. I had to send it to a dry cleaning service, who charged an additional $21 for steaming it. I had previously purchased this in a “camel” color, which was not not completely sold on. So I immediately ordered it in black. The pricing was definitely a deal, and the fit was spot on. I love the length, which is perfect for shoes and boots. I am 5’2”, and 130 lbs, so the medium was exactly what I needed. Wearing this coat over a midi-length dress was perfect. I love the cinched waist and the flair edge bottom, it was not bulky at all, and perfect for a dressy occasion. This is a beautiful coat. I was actually tempted to keep the camel colored coat. At this point I have to give kudos to the supplier. When I ordered the coat I was told it would not arrive until Saturday (the day of the wedding), however, I thought it might come earlier. Flattering tailored (peplum) cut, thick fabric. Very warm. Sizing runs a tad small. I usually wear dress size 4 or 6. The medium fits me perfectly with a thick sweater and room to move. The shoulders are just right with ample room for arm lift. I am 5' 2" and the length hits about mid-calf while in flats, which is expected. Rich, dark color without an overt dye smell. I do wish the buttons were black. The photos were confusing on that detail. They are brown. Easy enough to replace, though, if it's really important. Fantastic quality for the price. Read more
Sizing. 5'7, 150 lbs. ordered a lrg and could not button. Return was easy and reordered xlrg. Fits well but not a lot of room for extra layers. A little heavy.Warm, Classy, elegant silhouette. Light Grey. Love the length. -1 Star for sleeve lining that sags a little bit below cuff. I have to remember to pull it up into sleeve so it doesn't show. Very nice surprisingly for the price. The coat is beautiful, HIGH quality and lined. However the camel color is a tad too "orangey" and the coat runs large. Amazon couldn't do an exchange so I had to return it, but will order it again in a smaller size. For reference, I had ordered an XL, I'm ordering an L. 2X - Great fit, nice n warm, contours perfectly into the waistline, good shoulder space, nice substantial weight, great quality, rich dark color black, great length, 85% Polyester, Washable (15% Wool / Care instructions Machine Wash)...Will take pictures or video after a while. Warning!...(No offense intended): Don't try, if you don't have a waistline or a flatter tummy. I am 5'6", 215 Lb (never had kids or fibroids). Some who have, tend to be thick in the middle with protruding bellies which can pose a problem on this style and cut. I'm a size 1X, 2X or 3X, 47" Fullest bust/ 42" waist/ 52" hips/ (US Size PROPORTIONS), depending on style and cut. I usually look for shoulder sizes of Over 17" because I wear shoulder pads, for a classier crisp look. Because of mu weight and size, I look frumpy without shoulder pads.
