Bully stick holder

We use these balls for bully sticks. Way cheaper than products made for bully sticks. Our dogs love them. Read more

A good buy

Ron ShawMay 22, 2024

As a volunteer at a local shelter, I am always on the hunt for safe toys that are durable and stimulating for the dogs. We use peanut butter to put in the crevices of these toys and the dogs LOVE it. It gives them a nice treat and actually calms them by giving them something to chew on. We feel safe in giving them to our most fierce chewers and they clean up nicely with just soaking them in hot water. I would not , for choking safety, give them to larger dogs. We use them strictly for our smaller dogs, 20 lbs or less, to avoid any chance of swallowing or choking. We use them every day. Read more

Not as durable as expected

Hula MomJuly 24, 2020

Took my 4.5 lb chihuahua mix all of 6 days to get a bit of rubber off and eat it. Not a deal breaker for me. She loves this ball. Easy to stick some kibble or treats in the “teeth” and it keeps her busy. I have no idea if it cleans her teeth but will let her continue to play with it when I can watch her. Might not hold up to tougher chewers. When play time is done, I just wash off the ball and store it for later. On the fence if I would buy it again. Possibly. Nice that it comes as a set of two though. 4 stars for how much my dog likes it, minus one star for her getting some rubber off after 6 days. Read more

Less than spectacular

MBKMarch 6, 2018

We were looking for a way to get our 4-month old lab puppy from eating all of her food in 20 seconds and decided to give this a try. It works well for the food that she can get out of the ball fairly easily, but she grows bored quickly if any food is difficult to get out. We are ultimately forced to pull the food back out of the ball and give it to her. The ball holds her attention briefly, but not for long. This is short of anything spectacular. Read more

Great Toy!!

Anonymous AlpacaOctober 4, 2020

I purchased the two pack for my two young terriers. I have a 12 month old male and a 2.5 year old female. The male is still very much in his chewy stage, and when bored, the female is insanely destructive. She ate my couch already. With the wildfires currently causing horrible air quality and the daily temp still too high to walk to pups on concrete safely, they’ve been stuck in our (still large) backyard, they have a lot of energy and not as many outlets available. Both pups were rescued separately less than a year ago, and the female has really needed work desensitizing her to everyday sounds and stimuli. She still does not react well to mechanical noises (like hair dryers or vaccums) and HATES squeaky toys. She is definitely scared of them, so we try not to get them. This product is ideal for these two. They are food motivated and can spend considerable time gnawing on the ball to get to the food. The female prefers when treats are imbedded rather than dog food. The male will take anything and everything. He is the biggest user of this ball. We can roll it around to catch his attention and play with him, and when he’s ready to get to chewing, he will get comfortable and really start contorting himself to get into the little nooks and crannies. I can see that his teeth are getting gently scrubbed and the little picks on the ball that hold the treats in place not only massage his gums but get into the spaces around each of his teeth to clean. The mint flavor/scent on the ball is a very pleasant bonus! So far I’ve used their normal dog food (Blue Wilderness Adult Small Bites) and the Blue Wilderness training treats. In a few days I am going to use peanut butter in the center of the ball and in a few crevices. So far it’s been awesome! Read more

Sturdy & engaging

KKBenoitJanuary 21, 2025

These balls stand up to some serious chewing just as they are, and if you fill them with treats they are an even more engaging toy. Our dogs love them either way. Read more

I like the idea, and they seem good quality, but..

Zach SurfusAugust 18, 2024

While the product comes as advertised, and the size and quality are good, they're not our dogs favorite treat toy. We have a 60lb female pit/rot, and we've gotten her other toys like this as well, to help with her anxiety while we are working and the kids are at school. She had bad separation anxiety when left alone even more than an hour or 2. These types of toys keep her occupied and offer her a reward, which keeps her anxiety and resulting poor behavior (chewing on the living room rug for us, and trembles, as she gives herself away and lays flat on the floor, tail tucked as I get in the door, and haven't even noticed anything wrong yet). These toys, along with a soothing dog anti anxiety playlist on YouTube, and a dose of pet rescue if it's going to be more than a few hours, have helped to keep her calm, and keep the bad behavior and symptoms in check. She's a good dog when she isn't anxious, but when my wife started working again, we hadn't expected her anxiety to be so bad. These help, and they've held up well so far, but she just doesn't play with them like a couple of her other ones she has. Read more
