This is the best shower caddy I have ever purchased. The four suction cups work perfectly. I will never buy an adhesive product in a rental (or at all frankly) and amazon sells VERY few suction cups shower caddies now that the adhesive ones are on the market. The suction cups work because there are enough of them and two different types. Very happy. Read more

Wow! The suction cups on this shower caddy are powerful! I am one of those guys who love to do as much of my morning rituals in the shower as possible. The steam from the hot water put my beard at just the right softness that it makes shaving so much better. I just need something to keep it all in. With my old shower caddy the suction cups would eventually come off and I would have to put it back on. Of course those were only single action suction cups. Ones where you just push them on. Not this caddy! No, no. Here we have a pair of double action suction cups. First you push them on with the caddy horizontal and facing the shower wall. Once you have it pushed on, then you tilt the caddy down and the secondary suction action really grabs hold. I have every confidence that this will hold for a good long time. Also, I have been using this for over three months now and have seen no sign of mold forming in it. I am hopeful that the large open design will help inhibit that. Since it is made of clear plastic I will be able to see any mold as it starts to form. I look forward to years of good service out of this product. UPDATE: I have been using this caddy for over a year now. I have needed to reset the suction cups twice in that time. In my opinion that is really performance. I have seen mold a time or two. But, as this is a clear design, I catch it early and a simple cleaning takes care of the problem. I am still really pleased with this product. Read more

So far, so good. The suction cups hold really well. The caveat (especially to those who had problems), is that, like all suction mounted products, you need to make sure the surface is clean AND smooth. For example, one review indicated he/she cleaned the surface with alcohol, and it did not hold. Unfortunately, alcohol is not good at removing soap scum (which is almost invariably on shower/tub walls). ANY contaminants (usually soap film/scum) will have a surface rough enough to allow air to seep under the suction cups. You need to clean the surface with something that removes soap scum completely. Soap scum remover works well (with a little scrubbing), but I use either naphtha or paint thinner, and even then it takes a bit of rubbing to assure the surface is scum free. The little clips on the side to hang accessories on are a little awkardly sized, but they work well enough for things like razors (as long as it isn't one with a bulky handle. The picture shows a toothbrush, but I haven't tried that, as no one in my family keeps a toothbrush in the shower (and don't personally know anyone that does, though I understand some people do), so I can't say how well it works for that. Yes! We needed a better holder for items in our bath/shower. These are well made and nice looking. Don Okay, I can't locate it now but a while back I was involved in some buyer discussions on here about how to keep these from constantly falling off of a fiberglass tub/shower wall/surround. The basket is nice and holds-up well but, the suction cups (nice as they look) just would not stay on the wall (in my experience) for more than about 30 days before falling to the floor of the tub/shower - usually in the dead of the night. I modified mine and they have now been secure on the wall for more than 60 days. The attached pictures should pretty-much tell their own story about how to do this - cut-off the suction cups at the hinge with a hacksaw, drill some holes, use some stick-on hooks and hold them to the wall. In one of my pictures, you'll see a bottle of shampoo in one of the baskets - - that is an essentially full bottle, fairly heavy and has been there all 60+ days. Don Read more

These are a good value and are of good quality. When installed (No tools-just suction) they feel VERY solid/sturdy. We have previously tried various items to keep the different shampoo's & such in order in the shower. Cheap suction cup models don't hold up. Either the cups degrade, or get knocked off the tile at the slightest touch, or the "container" itself degrades & becomes cloudy or cracks, etc. Have had these several months now and the plastic remains crystal clear, the suction cups are designed such that a very strong suction exists when installed properly. They can be knocked off, but not easily. Even if you WANT to remove it for repositioning it doesn't come off too easily (don't read that to be it's hard to remove because it's not. Just hard to remove by accident). We have four units, three "normal" size and one extra large. I recommend the extra large size to better fit the large size shampoo bottles one may get from BJ's or Costco or Sam's Club, etc. Read more

I bought these years ago in a store that sells a lot of “containers” ;0) I came to Amazon when I wanted some more. They work great if installed properly. As mentioned by others, the size of the tiles matter. My shower has 6x6 inch tiles. First clean and dry the area. I then douse paper towels with 91% alcohol and wipe down the corner to be installed and douse alcohol on all the suction cups and then suction to the wall. Let them set for a few hours or next morning BEFORE putting anything in them. Between my daughter and I we have ALOT of stuff in the shower. They hold firm for months. I have to practically pry them off when they need to be washed. Read more
