After a free standing shower caddy we did have broke and not being the best to start with I began shopping around for a new one. Most caddies that are free standing are triangle in design and can’t hold a lot or just aren’t stable enough to do so, so something with a basket design was what I was seeking. It comes already assembled unlike some caddies and is perfect for the household of three I reside in that all must share a bathroom. We each get our own shelf and each shelf holds Shampoo, Conditioner, Soap, and Body Washes/Face Washes with ease. The open design allows air flow so no water collects and gets gunky and the basket design means your razor is not gonna slip sideways and fall through. Its sturdy and doesn’t tip no matter how you set things up on it (the top rack which is mine) holds 2 24 oz bottles (Shampoo and conditioner), and a 20 oz bottle Of body wash Without issue as well as a few other bits and bobs such as a face wash, a bar of soap, and a razor and loofa there is no tipping or struggle for the rack to hold the items and I imagine you could put the same load in the lower racks and still have no issue. We bought this to place inside our walk-in shower. I bought it in anticipation of eventually mounting some shelves on the wall, so viewed this as temporary. I’m rethinking that because it’s working so well and will probably use this as our permanent solution for the shower. It is stable. No rocking, no tip overs. This has done the trick in my shower. It is important that you put the heaviest containers on the bottom and distribute the weight evenly. I took off the little plastic pieces on the bottom to prevent mold. So far there has been no rust. I'm very happy with purchase. Read more
