I took the suction cups off and used a couple of zip ties to secure it to my elderly mom’s shower chair. Perfect fit and function. Read more
Only stuck in place for a few weeks, now it wont stick at all Read more
I am very happy with this shower basket. I purchased this for my young son who's now taking his own shower. The shower caddy my husband and I use is too high for my son to reach (one that hangs on the neck of the shower head). I wanted something small that would hold all of my son's shower items so they are easily reached by him. I didn't want to have shampoo bottles, etc. cluttered on the corners of our tub/shower. This works nicely because he has his own soap dish, a hook (there are two) for his washcloth, and a nicely-sized basket for his shampoo bottle. I haven't had a problem with this basket staying on the wall (I have Swanstone walls). At first I wet the suction cups, but it soon slipped off. I applied a light film of liquid soap and a drop or two of water, and it hasn't fallen since. (about two weeks so far) Highly recommended! Read more
Edit 4-4-2019: Hung this in my outdoor shower, where its done duty for 3 years. Florida rain, humidity, soap residue, etc have had no effect on the finish. This is the real deal. Updating to 4 starts from 3. Original review: Supposed to be stainless steel, and it might be, but if so its not high grade stainless. There's several kinds of stainless steel, and as a layperson the easiest way to tell if something is stainless is to put a magnet on it. It shouldn't stick to stainless. It sticks to this basket (see picture). It doesn't grab like it would on iron, but it still sticks, and considering how little metal there is in this basket, I'd expect it not to hold its own weight, even if it was lower grade stainless. The previous reviews about the design not being conducive to good suction cup operation are correct. There are metal squares that hold the 3 suction cups, and the two on the outside corners are welded onto the inside of the wires of the basket. The middle one is welded on the outside of the wires. That puts the basket under continual tension, pulling out on the two outer cups. For my use, the suction cups were removed because I was screwing it to the wall of my outdoor shower. So the only feature I really care about is the fact that it is truly going to be rust free - and the magnet stuck to the side of it is not giving me a lot of confidence. I'll hope for the best and update as it progresses. Read more

I read the reviews and decided to hive this s try. Needed A place to store that other bar of soap (the hideously expensive one I don't use daily) and my shaving creme and razor. This hold that plus A washcloth and a couple of small shower gel bottles quite nicely. To install I simply see rubbing alcohol and a paper towel to clean the entire area where I intended to place it. Chose my exact location and leaned into it for 45 seconds and let it sit overnight before loading it up. I give it an A for sturdiness, ease of installation and value for the money. An A+ for looks and useful design. Much better than I had anticipated! Read more
Had it for about a year and pros and cons. The suction cups don’t work all that well and it constantly falls off the tub wall. Doesn’t hold a lot of weight, and it will rust in the corners after a while. Looks good though. Wouldn’t buy it again though. Read more
Clean the suction cups thoroughly, then clean the wall areas thoroughly. Make sure they're slick and smooth, your finger shouldn't feel any texture. (this means if your bathroom tiles are naturally textured, you're out of luck). Then make the suction cups wet and it doesn't hurt to splash some water over the tiles as well, and press them together HARD, creating a tight seal with only water in between them. If you see any air bubbles that are bigger than a small ant, re-do it. Since I've done that, this baby's stuck on the wall and held strong, haven't had a single drop. I use it for a tub of exfoliator, loofah, razor, etc. Obviously don't put your heavy shampoos in it. Read more
