Great for shampoo and body wash, etc!

Sibyl S.December 11, 2018

We have several of these, plus two of the corner ones installed over our disabled daughter's grab bars in the shower to hold all her many shampoos, body washes and other bath supplies. This keeps the bottles from getting knocked off and out of reach for her. They sit directly on the grab bar so they are secure and not entirely dependent on the suction cups. They are durable and easy to clean. The company is very responsive and thoughtful - one suction cup was left off when they were shipped and they sent several to replace it - just in case! Great product! Well made. We have had the first one for years and it looks as new as the brand new ones. Read more

Great at first, but TERRIBLE

CGOctober 9, 2023

Product worked great at first until they all started to fall off the wall. The suction cups are terrible. The baskets themselves also don’t drain well and the insides of the baskets get gross because of that. These are a massive waste of money and I’m disappointed I ever purchased. There are other options on Amazon that actually work. Read more

So not using this as intended..

Robs.RevivOctober 2, 2012

I am using this as an in tank refugium for macro algae in my nano cube 28.. So, here is the way I set mine up.. I took a dremmel and cut extra slats in the top left and right, and then cut out a square to match the opening of the intake to the AIO. I used super glue gel to fasten it to the back wall becasue the suction cups will not work anymore once the cuts are made. Also, my wrasse loves his new bedroom.. lol I see him sleeping in there every night. I do catch the stray hermit, or snail in there every so often. Not a huge deal as they get everywhere. All in all a sturdy product usable for either you shower, or fish tank! well worth the price, and perfect size for a nano cube 28. I would get a smaller size for any smaller nano cube style tanks. Hope this helps my fellow reefers. Read more

Suction cups don't work but ...

Steve and AmyFebruary 22, 2013

We've never found a metal shower caddy that doesn't end up with rust. So where are all the plastic ones? We thougtht we'd try these with suction cups but they don't stay up forever eventually crashing during the middle of the night. However, this one works great with a little creativity. We hang it with nylon rope hooked to one of those plastic over the door hooks that hangs on the edge of the shower. I had to drill a couple of extra holes in this basket (don't press hard - drills easy) so that there are essentially four ropes holding this "hanging" basket. The cool thing is nylon rope comes in all kinds of colors - take your pick! It works great holding shampoo, conditioner, etc and actually looks great, too (if I do say so...). Just think we will never have to worry about rust again! Read more

Multiple uses - great suction holding strength

Paul A PongratzJuly 9, 2022

Yes, these are made for the shower/bathroom but we use these on the inside of our glass doors in refrigerated cabinets! They work great in our convenience store - they hold a lot of condiments without falling off of the glass. Very effective for sure. Since the ventilation holes are only on the side opposite the suction cups, the other side is very clear to see through. I'm sure they would work fine in the shower as well! Read more

Not sturdy

CustomerApril 3, 2024

It’s strong/thick material, but it can’t hold anything without falling. I see some people posting using it for their big body wash bottles and such, but it can’t even hold 3 bar soaps without falling. Suction is terrible. I have to put it up multiple times everyday because it keeps falling. I have now taken it down and finding something different. Read more

Love this!

CindyAugust 26, 2023

This is great - holds 3 bottles of shampoo and conditioner. Looks nice in shower.=Did take me a couple tries to find an area of shower where large suction cups would hold it. Didn’t work where water was coming down on it. Sticking well on side of shower. Read more

Two significant failings but otherwise, not bad.

Dallas Electronics FanJune 26, 2024

I've owned quite a few suction caddys over the years. Most performed well, no issues. Pros: The suction cups are more than adequate. Strong enough to support weight, long lasting suction if applied properly. This means wetting them first, applying to a smooth and clean surface, pushing them hard against the surface and working out any air bubbles. The size of the caddy is just about perfect, large enough for everything I need. Cons: There are only two tiny drain holes. One each on both ends. Inadequate for quickly and completely draining water. This means moisture accumulation that can remain for a day or two in my experience. This is in an enclosed stand-up shower without a lot of ventilation so your experience may vary. This is fixable by drilling holes on the bottom of the caddy. I'd recommend adding at least three 1/2" holes evenly spaced aross the bottom. If you do this, apply very little pressure, just enough for the drill bit to maintain contact with the caddy. Using too much pressure will crack it. Secondly, the suction cup tabs that attach to the caddy to the basket are too small. If you happen to lightly brush up against or bump the caddy, the basket will detach from the suction cups and fall. This has happened twice. Moving it to a position that prevents this is an easy fix but other suction cup caddy's I've used do not have this problem, are more robust. SUPER annoying when everything comes crashing down. I happened to have a bag of suction cups of the same design, various sizes (rack up a win for pack rats). I drilled out the caddy's holes and used two larger suction cups. Worked very well. Decent product if modified but as-is, worthy of only two stars. Read more
