Took a bit for me to apply it correctly to my shower wall. There has to be some moisture, but not too much. You have to have the suction cup in the correct position, and press hard (for me) to get it to stick. It is strong enough to hold up my shower mat to dry. The suction cup can come loose after a few weeks if it loses its seal . Just wet the wall and reapply. Should work great in other places as well for items that weigh less. Other suction cups I've tried could not hold the weight of my shower mat for a long time. I hang my shower mat to keep it from getting mold and put it back down when it is dry. Read more

These hooks are great! I was reluctant to buy them at first because the previous reviews were so mixed. Some said they worked and some said they didn’t. But I took a chance since the price was great, and I am really glad I did! Like the previous reviews said, all you need to do is read the instructions. You can’t just stick it on the wall and hope it stays. There is a specific way to put it on the wall and lock it into place. The hooks haven’t moved at all since I hung them up. And I even waited to do this review because I wanted to give it time to make sure they stayed in place for several days. Plus I take the items on and off the hooks during each shower and the hooks still don’t budge. So they can definitely be used to hang items that you use daily. Also just as an FYI, I tried them on tile and glass and both worked. I ended up putting it on the tile. But just so you know that either option would work. I highly recommend these hooks, especially for the price! As long as you install them correctly, they will absolutely stay in place! Read more

We needed a spot to hang our individual loofahs in our new shower and these were perfect. They can be used on any smooth surface, a wall, shower tile, glass/plastic door, etc. They hold incredibly well, even with a 16 ounce mirror hanging on my husband's along with his loofah. If they do fall, they are simple to reattach, just hold the hook at a 90° angle, push the suction cup to the wall and bend the hook down. This locks the hook in place. Because they are so easy to install and remove repeatedly, they are easy to clean and clean around and under. I do wish the iDesign hooks came in more styles and sizes, but these are very functional for any shower/tub/bathroom. Read more

I just got these in the mail. Very well packaged and with clear instructions. They are sturdy. You have to follow the directions and make sure the plastic cup is wet to assist with the seal lock. Push it onto the wall, with the hook end raised, and then pull the hook down like a lever. You can see it locking onto the wall. To remove, flip up the hook part and gently pull off the wall. If you have issues with suction removal, peel the cup or insert the tip of your fingernail into the outer circle. It pops right off. These are well priced for what they are and delivery was speedy. Don't expect to hang large and heavy things from these hooks. I'm sure that they can handle it but the suction mechanism is a fickle pickle and anything large may just pull it off the wall. I purchased them to hold my husband's shower sponge and a body scrubber brush and they are keeping up their end of the bargain. :) Read more

Worst product of this type I've ever tried. Plastic pieces aren't properly built to actually create the suction they should. I've used other products like this before without issue... these seem mismanufactured and are completely useless. 100% garbage. Read more
