I didn't have the same issue others had with the adhesive. Why? Because I never use the included adhesive in products like this. I removed it right away and used the Velcro version of the command strips which have worked for me from hanging vacuum cleaners to mirrors (depending on how many you use. Still, not an excuse for products to have bad adhesives. For this particular product, I mounted it on a mirror with the command strips and it's holding up well. I won't put too many heavy items on it because it DOES need more surface to attach more adhesives. Installation for me was not too complex. This works but not really my favorite. I'd prefer something with better sides so that I can't easily knock bottles off of the shelf. I'd like something a little bigger (both depth and width) so that I could hold more. But, that would likely compromise the ability to keep it attached. I'm still searching for something that fits my needs but this works for now. Read more

So far, the shelf is staying put exactly where it was placed, which is the main thing it needs to do. It's a nice little corner shelf, fairly spacious, and helps add some storage in a shower from the boring, minimal plastic shell period of bathroom design in the aughts. Read more

The media could not be loaded. Let me start by saying the first thing I noticed when I got this out of the package was the flaws in the paint. The installation itself was actually a bit more complicated than I’d expected, requiring the shelf to be completely disassembled and screws to be loosened to allow the shelf to be secured to the wall properly. The adhesive tabs provided to mount this has at least a third that doesn’t make contact with the surface leaving me to question how well this will hold in place. The shelf design has the razor blade facing front which I’m not a fan of for safety reasons. In the case of my razor, it sits above the edge of the shelf and leaves more of a chance of possibly hitting the blade with your hand. Because of this, I won’t use the shelf to store my razor. Updated to add: I’ve had this shelf mounted for less than 48 hours and with hardly anything on it, the adhesive let go, and the shelf started coming off the wall. After renovating my bathroom last year, I realized I didn’t have enough shelf space in the shower. This corner shelf solved that without messing with the look. The matte satin finish complements my black-and-white vintage tile perfectly, and the size is just right—not bulky, but holds the essentials. It was easy to install, but placement matters—once that adhesive hits the wall, it’s staying put. The built-in razor holder is a nice idea, but it’s a little too wide for mine, so the razor slips out sometimes. Still, a clean, functional fix that doesn’t mess with the aesthetic. Read more

The shelf itself is well-made, sturdy, and has an attractive design qualities that would easily earn it a five-star rating. Unfortunately, the included mounting method significantly detracts from the overall experience. The adhesive pads provided for installation are extremely ineffective. Despite carefully following the application instructions, the shelf detached from the wall as soon as I placed a bottle of beard conditioner and a bar of soap on it. Given the weight of the shelf, it likely would have fallen on its own within a few days even without anything on it. To make matters worse, when it fell, it scratched the shower pan damage that could have been avoided with a more reliable mounting solution. As it stands, I now have a scratched surface and a shelf I can’t use unless I purchase alternate adhesive or hardware separately. This could have been an excellent product had better-quality mounting materials been included. I hope the manufacturer considers improving this aspect, as it would make a significant difference in user experience and satisfaction. Read more
