These are freakin awesome! I still use papertowels when I need to absorb grease from food. But I use these cloths for everything else I would nornally have used for cleaning. The packaging indicates that the cloth and packaging itself are both compostable. It is a product of Germany so rest assured, it is NOT manufactured in China. I like to use these around the sink and line them in areas where there is a lot of water drippage, like under the faucet knob. Some of the cloths might have white streaks in them but it doesn't affect the absorbency at all. Its just the way the fibers were mixed during production. I've washed mine multiple times in the washer and they hold up well. The packaging does indicate that you should not put them in the dryer. I accidentally threw them in the dryer the 2nd time I washed them and they ended up shrinking. But even though they shrank, they were still useable and still absorbed liquid just fine. They are very absorbent and strong so they're a perfect replacement for papertowels for use on cleaning duties like scrubbing the stovetop or microwave (I use dishsoap and water). They don't disintegrate like a papertowel would, they don't leave behind bits of paper or lint, they dry quickly (but not flat) when you wring them out completely, they're much easier to wring out than a dishtowel, they rinse out any debris extremely easily, they're larger than the more expensive printed styles which brings me to my last point which is that they're cheap! At close to just 1 dollar and some change, they are significantly less expensive than the designer cute printed cloths advertised as Swedish Dish Clothes. I was gifted one a few yrs ago with a lovely gnome design on it. I didn't actually start using until recently and noticed that it was much smaller than the If You Care brand. The function is the same but seriously, there's no point in paying more for a cleaning cloth when you can get it cheaper. Plus, if you have a dog like mine, you might be replacing them every so often. My dog has nabbed two clothes so far because she's a brat and think its OK to use them as chew toys LOL I ordered 4 packs two months ago and I just ordered 3 more packs today since I like having a giant pile before I do kitchen laundry. These do a really good job washing the most delicate items as well as scrubbing off hard, baked-on food. They're easy to handle and clean up really well just by running them through the dishwasher or laundry. I feel like they are way more durable, and therefore, a better overall value than traditional sponges. Highly recommend. Read more

Never thought I'd be writing a review for a sponge cloth, but? It's THE BEST sponge cloth. There was a moment when I couldn't find it on Amazon, after having used 'If You Care' for over ten years and I substituted with another brand. What a disaster that was, given it was cheaply made. It fell apart within days, when this sponge cloth is my go to kitchen aid that lasts for weeks, as I cycle it down to all my cleaning tasks. The quality is incomparable. May they never go out of business! Read more

So far, these work as a good alternative to paper towels. They absorb fluids well and wring out really nicely. They have a bit of scrub to them, which worked well when wiping down tables and the sink. I washed one once, and they do come out stiff (I air-dryed, per the instructions). I'll trying to lay them flat next time instead of hanging on the line so I can store them more easily. I find they are a bit small - I would like them to be about twice as big. When wringing them out, it's hard to get a grip to wring them. Read more

These are my favorite! Best price and one swipe and the countertop shines! Durability is also the advantage over paper towels. Have one in the kitchen and each bathroom for easy clean ups! The ones I received were a minty green and the color I like working with also. Other brands include a color assortment which includes a dull gray. These are the best..or price & color. Read more

This is the very best kitchen rag I’ve ever used. Dries quickly without souring. Easy to squeeze water out. Even when it gets dirty and stained I just run it through the dishwasher washer or washing machine and it comes out like new. One cloth lasts for months! Read more

Perfect for washing dishes as a replacement for a sponge. They dry quickly and don't smell. You can wash them in the washing machine if needed or if they get stained. They don't scratch your dishes but does get them clean. They also work well for wiping counters. You will save money on paper towels. Buy the Skoy Scrub cloths for scrubbing they're wonderful too.
