I'm happy with the fit. I am 5' 10" 190 lb; generally a slim build, with fairly big thighs/butt. The pants fit great through the "challenging areas." If I were going to nitpick the fit of the pants, I'd say I wished they tapered below the knee ever so slightly. I can see why people wearing these with work boots or similar high boots would appreciate that space, and given they are marketed as work pants, I suggest taking my criticism with a grain of salt. These are great for travel, hiking, yard work, maintenance, pajamas, office attire, combat, driving, swimming, flying, sitting, standing... you get the picture, they work well for any task. They haven't split or torn, they don't stain easy, they dry quick, they don't wrinkle too much, the pockets fit tools or other bulky stuff. The wrench pocket is ideal for a phone. Lightweight and breathable, but still protective. I bought a couple, I'll be ordering some more. Good price for a quality pair of pants.
