Being half-finnish I grew up with Ittala glassware and I always liked the Ultima Thule look. We are building our own collection of them and this is our latest purchase. Perfect for a can of beer or soda. Looks very nice and very sturdy. And they hold up to machine wash, as all glassware should of course. My mother have 30+ year old Ultima Thule glasses and they look like new. This particular model is our favorite. Read more
The glasses came packed very well in a box within a second Amazon packed box which contained additional bubble wrap to assure that the glasses would arrive safely. They are exactly as described. One should not expect glasses purchased at different times to match as the molds that are utilized have to be replaced since they are made of wood. However, the glasses closely match other items (including a bowl) that were purchased at different times. The "match" is close enough to be appreciated as a set. Read more
We finally found them...after looking for a long time ,,,we were down to three....A bit spendy but they last forever look and feel great! Glass DOES NOT stick to coaster or bar top and under most conditions does not sweat...(not small feet) Sparkel out of dishwasher,The shape and texture give you a secure grip...Our guests always comment and have asked where to buy...and now we know the rest of the story! I inherited a large collection of iittala glasses from my grandparents and adore them. These are slightly different than the originals, but still a great design. They are pricey, but hold up well as our everyday glasses. Read more
Love the design of these glasses. Always get compliments on unique glassware, PLUS even with a "sweaty" glass, you always have a firm hold of the glass due to the texturing. A definite classy addition to any table or bar! Read more
Iitala glassware is the best for quality table glass ware. It is expensive. We have used a three size set of Ultima Thule glasses for more than 50 years. Unfortunately, have broken a few accidentally, but replacements have been available over the years. Read more
