I painted myself into a corner in search of this purse because I was trying to duplicate a small leather purse my sister-in-law had on our last trip. I wanted a purse small enough for travel (check), but with enough pockets and places to be organized (check), genuine leather (check), adjustable strap (check), in a portrait orientation (check). When it arrived, I was not disappointed — in the least. While the photo shows a front flap, the position of the front pocket allows you to tuck the flap in if you prefer a cleaner look. The zip pocket at the back is roomy enough for a small wallet and passport and even in a purse this compact, the interior zip pocket is still big enough to easily hold my iPhone making it even more perfect for traveling. Before ordering I was concerned about the claim that this purse had an adjustable strap because even with a close up examination of the photo, I couldn't see any hardware where the strap could be adjusted. That was one of the first things I looked at when it arrived. The strap is adjusted by knotting one end in the interior of the purse. Genius! The strap still is adjustable but has a clean look. So I got this for close to $65 but realize after Prime day it's $80 and $70 with a coupon, so I didn't really save much. There was literally a $10 difference between the tinier bag which I'll review separately and this one. I'm guessing this is the larger bag just because of the price but literally they are calling both of the bags mini, so it's kind of impossible to tell exactly which bag your referencing, the company needs to do a better job to defining that. This is the larger bag I believe. Anyway it's a pretty simple bag, a nice caramel color, has no lingering odors, is very soft. One of the most attractive things to me was the extremely minimal amount of hardware here. There are literally two zipper pulls and a couple grommets and that's it. That helps the bags to you later despite the leather which is medium thick. The lining, on the other hand, is quite heavy it's a very thiick polyester type material. I wish they would have made that a little lighter, like a stronger fabric but lighter in weight. So all in all a nice bag , but not certain that this type vertical bag is for me. It's hard to get in and of, even in this larger size. The length of the crossbody is adjusted by making another knot on the inside of the bag which leaves some of the strap hanging on the inside. I suppose you could either live with it dangling around in there or cut it off if you are sure you never want to make the bag strap any longer. The flap is nice aesthetically but I could see where it might get annoying. Honestly without the raw cut leather flap it would just look very generic. Read more

I have one in black and one in brown. I love the cross body design. They are the right size for a handful of needed items but not so large that it gets too heavy for cross body carrying. I get compliments on these all the time. Read more
LOVE this bag!!!!! Butter soft leather, decorative flap and zip closure , inside zipper compartment and outside back compartment. Easily made different carrying length by simply knotting the interior strap. This bag is as advertised and I'm very happy with it (I've had it about two weeks; will add more if I find problems later). The leather is soft and supple and doesn't bleed on your clothing (at least the black doesn't). The strap is easily adjustable. It has a slip-in pocket under the flap, a zip pocket on the back, and a small zip pocket inside. It holds what I need: in the main pocket: wallet, phone, pen, lipgloss; inner zip pocket: keys. Outer slip pocket, small Nook (it's not large enough for any tablet I know of). I also keep a small flat change purse and small notepad in the outer zip pocket. If you have additional bulky items you like to carry it may be too small for your purposes. I would like to have room for sunglasses in a case but it won't hold that with what I already carry, but that isn't a big deal for me. If I could change anything, I would make it 1/4-1/2" deeper, 1/2-1" wider, and maybe an inch taller. It's lightweight, and good for casual to dressier wear (IMO). I am tempted to buy it in some other colors but the black works with just about everything so I'm happy. If the size works for you, I highly recommend this bag. Read more
