I am very satisfied with this robot vacuum cleaner. It is truly unbeatable for the price. I intentionally chose this model because I did not want a robot vacuum cleaner with an app. I prefer a simple device that does its job without Wi-Fi or additional setup, and this model is perfect for that. The suction power is strong and reliable. It does an excellent job cleaning both carpets and hard floors in our house. It picks up dust and everyday dirt very effectively and runs consistently without any problems. It is a bit loud, but still tolerable :-) As with all robot vacuum cleaners, you need to remove cables and other small, loose items from the floor before running it. Once everything is cleared away, it works smoothly and efficiently. Overall, I can definitely recommend this vacuum cleaner. For the price, it's an excellent deal! Read more

this is the 3rd model from iLife we have had it's much better then ( copperlip), jumps up on any thick rugs and gets them clean, better along all outside edges(LONGER BRUSHES) still gets hung up on the sloping base poles for lamps and fans. v1 was $149, this v2 is ~$75 so very cool for less money and cleans much better,,, fan make more sucking noise...we put the old v1 in the garage. Update at the bottom of the original review. Original Review: 5/30/17 I have been very pleased with this Robo vac. It has vacuumed my house every day, without fail, since April 19th. The ONLY problems that we have had are human error issues. Like, once when we had company, they didn't realize they had to pick up all cables and chargers. The vac ate a computer cord and shut down while we were gone. Did no damage to the vac. Only other issue was getting wedged between a high kitchen mat at the bottom of the cabinet. We now pick up the mat for the vacuum. Our house has hardwood floors, a pretty open layout, and usually doesn't have much on the floor anyway so the vac only needs a door or 2 shut and to be emptied each day. We have a med hair dog and he puts out A LOT of hair so we empty the vac daily. Before this vac, I had to pull out my shop vac every day or every other day to vacuum. This little thing has completely put my shop vac out of commission and now I only use this vac and occasionally use my Electrolux handheld vac for spot cleaning. I am amazed at how much dust gets collected on a daily basis!! This thing really can get every little thing. It gets the edges really well in edge cleaning mode and, even though it takes random paths, cleans 95% of my floor when it runs. Hard to reach corners and in between furniture is the only places it doesn't reach well, but I just use another small vac to hit those spaces. Battery Life/Running time is AMAZING! I would say that I get exactly 2.5 hours on regular mode and about 1.5 hours on max mode. 90% of the time, it runs in regular mode and I have to send it home after about 2 hours because it has covered most all areas and I don't see the need to let it run for no reason. I usually have it set to run while we are gone, and it will run until low battery then. I've been home more than usual lately and have had a chance to time it on running and watch it more and it really does a great job cleaning my floors. The only cons I can come up with at this time is, small canister size, it started giving a slight "squeaking" sound during some turns after about a week but nothing that is bothersome, I wish it wasn't so random and had a more set path abilities (I do understand that feature is available with more expensive models). Other than that, I only have one tip for cleaning the canister filter daily. I take a small hand broom with me out to my porch and turn on a small fan. Stand in front of the fan and "brush" off the filter after you empty the canister. Works great and I only have to take apart the filter every week or so and it stays very clean. Update: 6/26/17 In the original review, I stated that the battery life was around 2.5 hours in regular mode. In 1 month that has gone down to 2 hours exactly on regular mode. I am going to try replacing the filters and see if the battery life improves any. But, if this keeps up, in a few months, it will not run for very long at all. :( Read more

Perfect for maintenance in between regular vacuuming of carpet. I have carpet with throw rugs and this vacuum will climb on and off the rugs and get surface dirt off the carpet and rugs. It easily goes in and out of the hardwood floor areas too. It's relatively quiet and does not scare my pets. It goes back to its charging base when that selection is made. I mainly run it with the remote. It's gentle when it nears furniture and does not strike it. I'm really pleased. It's a very good value. Easy to set up, operate, and empty. Read more

Approximately three weeks after starting to use this robovac (once a day) an arm of one of the side brushes snapped off. We contacted the manufacturer about it (ILife) and their response was less than helpful. They said, "ILIFE does not replace accessories like that. If the robot continues to lose side brush tassels like that you need to find what the brush is getting snagged on. Usually it is tassels on a rug, the feet of furniture or HVAC floor vents." To be clear: we didn't lose tassels, the arm broke off; we have owned several robovacs and never had a side brush break before. Maybe my expectations are just greater than they should be but, "too bad, so sad, change your furniture," just doesn't seem like a reasonable response. On the other hand, it works well, we like the reduced maintenance due to elimination of a roller brush (though that means it isn't quite as good on the low-pile carpet in the room), it was inexpensive, and it doesn't have any connection to the internet through which to report on the layout of your house, whether or not you are home, etc. Probably won't buy another one or any other vac from ILife but not unhappy we bought this one. My second ILife robotic vacuum. The first was vacuum mop, this one is just vacuum. Loud. Can even get louder with max suction. However... This model will vacuum the many throw rugs around the house- I no longer need to pick them up, pushes waste baskets (powerful motor) and manages to pick up a fairly large amount of dust and dog hair EVERY SINGLE DAY! I do need to make sure blankets, towels, wires, etc are all up off the floor. Yes, powerful motor. Better fit for this house than the prior Roomba at less than half the price. On the negative- the demise of ILife vacuum #1 was caused by it suctioning up the dog's tail hair leading to it being tossed like a frisbee when said dog dashed through the house. It has great suctioning power. in exchange said dog bounced his 130 pounds off the vacuum leading to total failure of vacuum/mop. Current vacuum is run with dog safely kept away. Worth it- I hate vacuuming ;-) Read more
