Mild and Balanced. I think you could have it stronger depending on amount used. I used half a teaspoon and added my regular half n half to my coffee cup. The Instant Coffee Can is small 3.3 Oz I enjoy it once a week. The other days I do the whole beans. Easy to use and caffeine content is manageable for the amount I use. If you need more caffeine energy then use more . I try to buy organic and less processed foods in general. I think this instant coffee is affordable for once a week.
