ILNP Bare - Sandy Beige Holographic Nail Polish

The media could not be loaded. I started my collection with Valentina, then added First Light a few months later, then now some months later I came back for Bare. I've been so happy with these products. They have a fast drying time, so I can actually do my nails before going to bed (all you busy people, you know how that goes!). I love that they each have a unique quality about them. Even the more see through ones, like Valentina, don't end up super streaky, so it's actually *fun* to do my nails, rather than stressful! I love that they don't have a harsh scent, are vegan, and seem to just be all around safer than other options out there, plus women owned! Excited to start getting into bolder colors now. My little one is interested in doing their nails and I honestly feel super safe about letting them use ILNP. Also, if you ever want to gift one, these come in super cute packaging! I haven't seen many reviews on the colors I have, especially Valentina, so I added some pics and a video. I have recently started using a gel rubber base and then add regular nail polish on top, but it's totally not necessary (I just have bad ridging on my nails from over filing and am trying to transition out of gels before giving myself an allergy). I used the Beetles Warm Jade rubber base on all my nails. I left my pinky with just that base, as a point of reference for the color under the ILPN colors. Valentina- I have used Valentina on top of a lavender and it makes it super fun. On it's own, it does mix with your nailbed color. One coat gives a jelly effect that can lead teal-grayish and I'm always surprised at its smoothness and non-streakiness. It is a pretty cool kind of neutral effect. First Light - I wanted this instead of a jelly white for cleaner mani vibes with a double-take not of interest. It does have a sweet pink glow. It's great when I'm feeling cruddy and want a pick me up that is easy for everyday wear. Again, nonstreaky and can be built up for more intensity on color and pink chrome payoff. Bare- This is my newest shade. It does lean slightly brown, but as you can see in the pics, it is also surprisingly neutral (not peach or pink leaning). I would say this has the most demure holographic sprinkle. One coat alone would be very see through but can add a super delicate rainbow holographic glitter effect. 2 or more coats start to build up that neutral brown color - kinda reminds me of a contour color for make up, if that makes sense. Overall, I remember being hesitant about spemdong the money for even just 1 of these... but I'm hooked! I can definitely say its been worth it every time. ILNP is easily THE best nail polish brand out there, and Pink Lemonade is one of their best colors! It's a pink jelly base with gold scattered holo. I have over 20 different bottles of polish from this brand and I love every single one of them. I have NEVER had a bad experience with any of ILNP's products. ILNP has beautiful, glittery, sparkly, shifty, and holographic colors that are long lasting and incredibly easy to remove! If you've ever removed a dreaded glitter polish that just would not budge from your nails, just know that NONE of ILNP's polishes are like that! They are all easily removed with 100% acetone. I love that their pricing is fair & consistent. With many indie brands raising their prices to the $15-$16 range... it's refreshing to see one of the best nail polish brands maintain fair pricing. Another great thing about ILNP- they have a HUGE selection of colors and they almost never go out of stock! With FOMO tactics (fear of missing out) all too prevalent in the nail polish world, it's nice to feeling like you are making a purchase on your own terms rather than being made to feel pressured into it. I cannot stress enough that you absolutely NEED to use a base & top coat with this product. Most nail polishes are NOT designed to be applied directly to your nails with no base or top coat. It WILL chip within a day if you don't properly prep your nails. Protip: if you want to buy more than one of their colors it's much better to use their website rather than here. Best nail polish ever! Seriously. No base or top coat, just 2 layers. Dries within 5 min and even after putting chicken fencing up around the vegetable garden, there were no chips or cracks. Lasted a week and a half before I needed to touch up. Read more

“Bare” is the first polish I purchased from ILNP. After using $2.99 polishes from the drug store, it is CRAZY how much easier this polish was to apply. The formula is very easy to work with and dries fairly quickly. Plus the packaging is very beautiful, they even sent a cute sticker with my order. I used this polish for a pearly french mani, and it worked wonderfully as a base color. I have to try more colors! Read more
