IM Corona Old Boy Silver Herringbone Pipe Lighter

This is my go to pipe lighter unless it’s really windy. It’s beautiful and high quality. It feels great in the hand with no sharp edges. As with all lighters and specifically butane ones, care and cleaning will keep them working for a long time. Make sure to bleed the tank empty each time prior to refilling with butane. Any air or condensation in the tank with cause issues with ignition. Also make sure to clean the ignition area every once in a while. I use an old toothbrush and alcohol and just scrub it all around the top and around the nozzle and under the lid. I do this before refilling it since I want the top flipped open while I clean. If you keep it clean and purge the tank before filling, you should have a very reliable lighter that lasts a long time. Read more

The media could not be loaded. It’s a good looking and heavy lighter. I love the way it looks and feels. My only gripe is that it doesn’t light on the first flick. Always takes 2-4 flicks before it lights which isn’t ideal. It has a nice big spark but it won’t catch the gas right away. Read more

This item is extremely well made. It is very classy and most importantly, works every single time. The build quality of these are outstanding, I also own the sandblasted burl/gold version. While this having a 45 degree flame was designed for lighting pipes, it is perfect for warming then lighting my cigars. Turned up, the flame is strong enough that the wind does not blow it out like it would a BIC and it doesn't CHAR/COOK the foot of my cigars like the torch lighters do. WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!
