I am editing this to include that the seller contacted me after seeing the below review. At least I can say this company provides excellent customer service, which is hard to find nowadays. They made everything right, which shows that they stand behind their product! I will still leave my review up, but if they stand behind their product, I will take the chance that my experience was a one off and not the norm. So, you can confidently shop their store knowing they will respond if there is a problem. Pros- padding underneath is thick enough to prevent swing injury. Cons- only lasted 3 months before it started to tear through. Once it starts tearing, the tear runs like a windshield Crack. Also with the rough section taking up a foot when you go to tee up a driver your feet are off the mat for us taller people. I would recommend finding a different mat. Read more

Must have for any golfer. This is the best investment I have made (in addition to a large net). This mat is a great quality, durable, the ball catch and rough are very handy, and the 5x4 gives you plenty of room to swing your driver. I’m saving money and time by not having to go to the driving range, and my game is improving quickly with the more frequent practice sessions. I highly recommend this golf mat. Mine has been great so far. I use it with a launch simulator, and have played 10+ rounds on it, plus range time. Zero wear from the area where the club hits the mat. Some wear from the areas where my feet stand on the mat. I am expecting it to last 3-6 months. I use mine on the driveway and like the feel of both irons and my driver coming off the mat. In the future, I would probably not get a mat with the tray for golf balls. We use a bucket and don't use a tray. I purchased this to practice my swing indoors. The rubber smell is quite strong out of the box but goes away after a day or two. I really like the thickness of the foam so I don't worry about damaging the hardwood floor underneath with my swings. Resists impacts well. It's also comfortable to stand on in my socks. The turf is of high quality and I don't seem to be losing many fibers at all even after a week of using it daily. So far so good. I have gone through a lot of mats in my indoor golf setup. This one is better than most.. it’s thick and the solid base won’t slip on concrete. A huge pus.. it’s bigger than most, so you have some room to shift and move around. The included tees are great, there is even an adapter to use regular gold tees if you want. The texture of the grass, both the rough and fairway/teebox, are perfect for practice. Been using it for over a week, it’s holding up great and I’m happy with it! Read more

This is a really nice golf mat. The base really is significantly thicker than other mats I've had- you've got a lot more give if you turf the club when you swing. The different lengths of grass are fairly standard for these kinds of products- nothing spectacular there, just what you'd expect it to be. The real star of the show is the thick base. If you're looking for a premium 5x4 golf mat, this is the one for you. Compared to the mats I've purchased in the past; this one is superior especially for beginner to intermediate golfers. Why?? It's because when you contact the pad heavy, you don't get near the shock on the wrist as other mats. This super thick 20mm is much easier on your arms and wrists as it buffers contact.
