We have a new puppy. She will only pee on these pads. We bought different types from multiple companies, our Maizy decided she likes these the best. Cleaning is a piece of cake. I put 2 in my tub, spray with resolve pet cleaner, let it sit for about 30 mins, spray them with very very hot water then wring them out hang up to dry. I really like these Pee Pads. I looked around for a little bit before choosing to order these. I purchased them based on previous ratings and features I liked. There was a mix up with my order that was rectified and I will explain later down below. So I was concerned about pee pads becoming a tripping hazard. My housemate has mobility issues so things like throw rugs need careful consideration. His older dog started peeing in the hallway going out the door (has been medically checked). I have been using disposable pads but that is getting really expensive. Washable pee pads are thicker and I was concerned about tripping. These seemed to be thinner than other pads yet got great reviews for holding liquids and not soaking through. These have been working excellent, so far. They are on the thinner side yet very absorbent, they have not leaked through as of yet (unlike the disposables). There is a carpet in the hallway that I have been waiting to remove since it smells so bad from the leaking disposables. I have not yet removed it, because of the fear of the disposables becoming very slippery on the bare floor. I think with the non slip grippers on the bottoms of these mats we are going to try and give it a go and remove the carpet. I will update at a later time on the how well they are non slip. Finding out the hard way with bare or stocking feet has not been fun. So I received the wrong item by accident. Instead of the two pack I received a four pack of washable bed pads. They were a different color than what I expected. I should have double checked but in a haste to use them I did not. I just figured there had been a product change. Well boy was I wrong. I had instead received washable bed pads (intended for humans). Not sure why but these were not absorbent at all. The pee soaked right through to the floor. That and the fact that there were no non slip dog paws on the bottom made me double check the product description on Amazon. I contacted Amazon who initially wanted me to mail them back for a refund. I contacted a customer service rep who agreed that mailing back used pee pads was less than ideal. She shipped me out a replacement product which arrived in a timely manner and told me to keep the others. In all honesty after using the bed pads versus the dog pee pads. I think even if I was to need them for human use I would purchase these dog pads over the bed pads because they held the liquid far better and prevented leak through. In do wish these dog pads came in a bigger pack though. I need about five of them and then another five for rotation. Read more

100% absorbency with multiple layers and used multiple time by my 2 dogs while away from home. Hardwood floors dry. I 've used them for 2 years, easy to wash and I have never placed in a dryer, line dry or hang in shower. I have several and keep in front of the doors that they would use to go potty. Rain or snow they know where to go. Love them. Now using one as a bed pad for a family member and it's keeping them dry. Read more

I can't comment on effectiveness but size wise they're great and look like they will wash well and be just what we were looking for to protect surfaces when we take our cats for their first rides in a new RV - they're terrified, so this is a precaution for the road trip once we get them used to even being inside.
