This rice cooker works great. My old one had a hinged top, that when I opened it would leak condensation all down the back of the cooker etc. This one has a nice heavy glass top with a vent hole-like all my crockpots. I would hesitate however to assume it would cook/hold 10 cups of cooked rice. I always make 2 cups uncooked which= abt 4 cups cooked, so it's still a great size for us, tho' I would not leave it alone to bubble away with more than maybe 3 cups uncooked (= 6 cups cooked). And always use the cup provided with the cooker to measure the uncooked rice. Read more

This rice cooker’s ceramic pot is soooo much easier to clean than our old, nonstick process. And no worries about consuming nasty nonstick chemicals. My husband was initially concerned that the cooker was too small for our family of four, but it has been just fine. Read more

Glad I went with the bigger capacity and non-stick. It works great and goes to auto warm. Easy cleaning. Nice to not have to watch the rice cook as with another model. Read more
