I had an earlier version of this and the display and internal controls are much improved in this version. Charging is easier and faster. It is certainly easy to use, but, after all, it is just a battery. The listing page is a bit misleading in that the pictures are correct, this comes with the AC inverter, although without instructions. The words on the listing page make it appear that you must buy the inverter separately...not for this item. I know this will meet my car travel needs, as well emergency power failures in my apartment. Read more

I can't tell you if this worked or not. A charger is not included with this and since I was in a bind, I had to figure something else out. I have about 7 different charging adapters but none of them worked to charge this. Doesn't make sense to sell a car without gas to drive it off the lot. Read more

I have handheld gaming systems that use a lot of power. The gaming system battery only lasts a few hours before I need to plug into the wall and charge. I was looking for something portable to keep my devices powered - even when not near an outlet. Also wanted to preserve the life of my device's internal battery. This item is perfect for my purpose! Larger "portable" batteries available, but they are pretty bulky. This unit will keep my devices fully powered, extending the lifespan of the game system built in battery. The average smart phone is about 12 watt hours. This unit is 138 watt hours, so you could fully charge your phone about 10-12 times off of one charge of this power station. The power station comes with a USB wall outlet power brick, that allows you to plug in the included USB C cable for Power Station charging. The unit also comes with a carrying case. The Power Station itself comes in two pieces - another feature that I love. The lower section allows you to use all battery features except AC power. If you need to use AC power output, you simply plug the top section in. Lower half of the battery: It is the biggest and heaviest, as this section contains the main batteries. Even with the top section disconnected, you can use the lower half to draw power via USB A or C, draw power via 12 volt out port, use the light, and charge the power station itself (via wall outlet or solar panel - panel not included). Most of my devices can be charged via USB, so the lower half is usually all that I need. Upper half of the battery: The upper half is the 120 volt power. It is nice to be able to add the top half only when required. The two also join together well. The top section slides into the lower half, and a hand twist screw secures the two sections together - very sturdy. The AC outlet worked well - I tested on a TV set that uses 189 watts. This unit powered the TV without issue. The cube is a nice design. The battery is not an eyesore, blends in with other electronics well. The light is push to turn on, no extra buttons. The display/status monitor displays all of the information you need, while not overbearing. Attractive, nice features, lots of power. Highly recommend! Read more

I loved everything about this powerhouse DC charger/light/AC outlet. It came in clutch during hurricane season, when we lost power for a few days. It powered a plug-in light and radio for almost 3 days! I was impressed for sure. It looks like a square building and seems to have been designed with the end user in mind. The AC outlet is like the penthouse and attaches securely to the top of the main charger via a direct DC connection. The main, or bottom, portion is the batter pack and DC inputs and outputs. I found all connections to be secure and snug. We took it camping and used it as the main power hub for our cell phones. We recharged it with a solar panel that pretty much stayed plugged in the whole trip. I never found any part of it overheating, even when being used to the max. There is a very useful digital display showing the current power level and output wattage. Maybe we used it too much, but it just stopped working altogether after about ten months. I still liked it a lot and wish we still had it. Read more
