My daughter used this for second grade. She's had it well over a year and still has it. All the straps and material is still in tack. It was very durable for a 7 year old. It stain a little easier due to the lighter colors. It has a decent amount of pockets. It's very light. The fabric isn't super soft but it feels more like a waterproof fabric. Read more
