I'm unsure about how long these utensils and knives will last. They're described as silicone + PP wood coating, and they are made in two connecting parts. I've had utensils and knives like that, and they didn't last long. They come apart too easily. Since the instructions suggest that handwashing is recommended, I think that might suggest the products could come apart eventually. I gave this set only 3 stars for these reasons; however, I will adjust my review as I continue to use and to hand wash these items.
