I love these little guys! Well packaged so that you can put them in a pocket and not be worried about them either poking you in a thigh at a most inappropriate moment... or pulling one out and getting grossed out over pocket fuzz or something worse attached to your dental appliance. This also makes them perfectly suited for traveling, which is my intent. I've had other cello packs before but they were hard to get into. These just easily tore and shouldn't be a problem for the grands [kids or ma/pa]. Starting with the pokey end, I expected something hard and sharp and potentially damaging to the gums. Not so! It's pretty sharp alright and has the right amount of flex to flick food flecks to the floor, but nothing to cause any pain. The other work end is stronger than I expected. The strand isn't one of those super slick ones that you question whether it moved too easily to accomplish anything. My friend Goldilocks says, they're "just right". Also, they are not wax coated, which is a big plus in my book. I hate the feeling of left over wax on my gnashers. It will take a while to use all these up, but I may have just changed my brand. I'm obsessed with these!! I've never had flossers that work THIS well. I will say, as someone who has had braces & never kept up with the retainer (& also has a very small mouth palette), the thread can actually be pretty hard to get back out when it comes to the teeth that are closer together. However, I love that because my gums actually feel CLEAN after using these. I've taken a before (in package) & after (out of package) picture of the pick I used & look at the amazing shape it's still in! You can't even tell!! I use dental picks daily as part of my regular oral hygiene routine, and as a result have become quite "pick-y" (pun intended) about the design and quality of these things. So I'm pleased to report that after testing these things, they are in fact pretty great. Good strong plastic, substantial "arms" on either side of the floss that don't bend even when significant pressure is applied. The floss is well adhered to the arms. And they have an extremely sharp "point" that actually gets in hard-to-reach spots, unlike some more blunt designs I've tried. They're also individually wrapped, which is great for traveling as I can just toss one or two in my toiletries bag for an overnight or weekend trip without having to find something else to put them in. Now, at $15 for 150 of them, they are a little more than twice as expensive per-piece than even the quality, name-brand dental picks I usually buy at the grocery store. So I wouldn't buy these for home use. But for travel, hospitality, care home or shelter use, I think these are pretty hard to beat. Read more

Floss picks are so much more convenient and easier to use then standard floss, and these work just as well as others I have tried in the past. The floss itself is strong and durable, and lasted through flossing all my teeth without breaking. My teeth are very crowded, and sometimes it is hard to get floss between them, but these worked with much effort. Besides the floss, the end of the handle has a pick which is nice to have. It is a bit sharp, and is somewhat flexible, but does a good job. I do love that they are individually packaged.
