I bought these in two colors for my new apartment with some new pillows to go on them because I got a whole new set of sheets and comforter for my bed and I have to say these are some of the softest most comfortable cooling pillow cases ever! The silk is not super great quality but for the price it's totally worth it I've noticed that it takes care of my hair better I never used silk pillow cases before... But I don't think I'll ever go back. And the zip closed with a zipper so they stay on your pillow no problem without sliding around and you having to fix them all the time they're so easy to use and they look perfect. Silk, or not, the fabric is still extremely comfortable. For this high of quality, they’re reasonably priced, and offer an extremely soft and ‘silky’ feel. The hidden zipper is cool I guess, and it fits pretty well. We started out by purchasing 1 instead of 6, but quickly followed up by getting the additional cases (in varying sizes). We definitely recommend these to anyone interested in the soft, silken feel that ‘real’ silk may provide. However, if you need to know that your pillow cases are ‘Authenticated Silk Products’, you may need to look for the real thing. Oh my goodness... THIS is the pillowcase I've been looking for! After visiting store after store, looking for a pillowcase sleek enough that my long hair will just slide along it (instead of getting tangled), I was ready to give up. The best I'd found was a synthetic fiber described as "silky." But it wasn't the kind of slippery that I wanted. I knew it'd still be the source of friction, not quite grabbing my hair, but... well, close enough. When I saw this pillowcase at Amazon, and that it's made from mulberry silk, I wasn't sure if I dared to hope it'd be slippery enough. Well, the pillowcase is here now and it's everything I'd hoped for: the fabric is soft and silky. The color is lovely. The fabric is super-thin while also feeling very sturdy. And the cloth has no odor. It fits my pillow perfectly, sliding on with no struggle at all. Definitely a five-star pillowcase, and the price was lower than what stores were charging for a synthetic fiber pillowcase not nearly as nice. Read more

They appear to be real silk instead of the cheap satin I wanted to avoid. They are rather thin but very soft. I love that they have zippers so they won’t slip off of the pillow cases. They do run a bit small however so I had to fight to get a couple standard size but very high quality pillows inside. It does appear that they will need washed pretty often but I wash my bedding once a week any ways. I will update after I get more use of them and after a few more washes. I am a bit worried about continued shrinkage as they already run small so I have avoided the dryer. Since they are so thin it hasn’t been an issue, however I have only washed them twice thus far.
