The media could not be loaded. I love this curling iron. It creates big loose curls, and tames my dry, wavy hair. I like the coating and temperature control and how quickly it heats up. It allows me to determine how much heat I want to expose my hair to. I think the length of the wand will work for most hair lengths, and the handle fits my grip comfortably. I looked at my local pharmacies and beauty supply stores and could not find this model. Good product at a reasonable price. Read more

Great optimal size to create more lose curls for the casual " lob" look. Heats quickly. My hair is long and thick but it did well. Read more

Nice wand that does the job. The only thing I don’t like is that the handle gets warmer than it should - feels kind of cheap in that way. Read more

I love this curling iron. My hair does not stick to it and the curls come out very smooth. It has an auto shutoff which is convenient on those days when I forget to turn it off. It heats up very fast and the curls stay most of the day. I will buy another for when I travel. Read more

I'm a huge Conair fan. I have yet to find a Conair product I don't like. This particular one I like how it can go back and forth between being a curling wand and curling iron. It distributes heat evenly and my hair doesn't smell like it's burning, which is a plus in my book. Read more

This curling iron got rave reviews on a site that was reviewing tools for fine hair. I had high hopes for a curling iron that would work miracles in humid situations and hold a curl all day. Well, news is - it's no different than any other curling iron for hold of curls. I have fine hair, and it needed a little TLC - so I was excited about the nanoceramic of this curling iron. My hair does feel soft when I use it. Someone mentioned the tip as being a problem. I scoffed that that review, until I burnt myself the first three times I used it! The tip is NOT really made for grabbing. I had to alter my technique to putting my finger on the tip of it - so I wouldn't risk holding it too close to the iron part. There isn't much room there for your thumb, and it does NOT feel the same as your other curling iron... so just be ready and keep it on your mind - or I guarantee you'll burn yourself. In addition, you feel heat coming from this curling iron - old style. It's hard to explain - but I'm curling with this iron and a smaller one to do my hair daily, and I can definitely tell the cool touch of my Hot Shot Tool vs this Conair. I don't even know the Hot Shot Tool is on - except the iron part is blazing hot. I like the heat adjustments - it's clear what the heat is set to, and you set it EVERY time you use the iron - so you are not singeing your hair without realizing it. I got this for a super reasonable deal, so I'm going to keep it in my spare bathroom, but I'm going to buy a Hot Shot Tool 1" Ceramic. I much prefer the cool touch of the Hot Shot tool. Read more

Finally (!), I am happy with an inexpensive curling iron for my fine, straight hair. First, the cord is thinner than my previous implement. The "old" iron was very heavy b/c of the unruly and thick cord, so I often burned myself. I love that my heat setting on this Conair "locks in" after about 5 seconds. There is no way I can accidently change the heat while using this curling iron, which was a problem on other cheaper units. NOTE: Read the fine print in the instructions! Once you turn on the unit, you have 5 seconds to increase or decrease the heat to what works; then it locks. I did not realize this and initially thought there were only 2 heat options. Read more
