I was excited to receive these nail clippers. I have a similar pair but it's about time I needed a new sharp pair of clippers. Right out of the package, they feel like very good quality. Everyone knows how awful ingrown toenails are especially if u live on the lower side of theeconomy and can't afford to have it surgically removed. I am embarrassed to admit how long I have endured and bene fighting to remove an ingrown nail on my toe but trust me when I say it's been a disturbing amount of time that this nail has refused to remove itself and regrow a new one so I knew I had to try something different. These are as tough as they look in the pictures. Very strong, very nice, sharp cutting edge and I feel confident this will get the job done and not require too much more from me. I am giving these 5 stars because they were very sharp right out of the package and comfortable to use and had a nice fine point for getting into where you might have a mild ingrown nail (a true ingrown nail usually requires a doctor's attention). Also, for such large and sharp clippers they're very affordable. At first, I was confused as to why the product description said not to use both springs but above the photo where it says not to it also says More Durable. I am guessing using both will wear them both out faster and the point of having two is when one wears out your have a spare. Neither of the springs have a different tension and there's no gain in great tension when the point is for it to clip not spring. All in all, nice clippers at good value. Recommended. Read more
