It is very sharp but it is difficult to unfold to use it because for some reason they put the magnet on one side to prevent using it Read more
Good clipper. The slant helps get to the pockets that’s sometimes hard to get to, if you’ve gone long without clipping. Read more

I just wanted to update this review since I've had a chance to use it a lot more. It's not as good as I initially thought. I mean it's adequate. But I notice the blades aren't that sharp. I mean it's lacking something. With most good quality nail clippers, I can hear a sharp snap sound as it breaks off my nails, but in this case, it's like a soft break. It's just doesn't feel like a clean snap. It's adequate but the blades could be sharper. ***Original review*** I was a little hesitant to order this nail clipper even though I needed a new one. Why? Because I don't have ingrown toenails and a little concerned that the curved blade would not work for trimming the top of my nails, not the sides. But when this item arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. First, it came in a little tin box for storage. A good quality file is included. Both the nail clipper and file are made of stainless steel. I just trimmed all my fingernails and I was impressed. The blades were reasonably sharp and the curve of the blades made it easy to trim the sides and edges of my fingernails. When I tested this on my big toenail, however, my high hopes were dashed. The blades were not sharp enough to cut through my thick toenail with a loud snap and a clean break that I'm used to with my old clipper. I mean, it works, just not as efficiently as the sharpest nail clipper I've used in the past. The size of the gap between the blades are not that wide, but looks to be wide enough to fit most nails. I finished trimming all my toenails with this and it worked reasonably well. Again, the curved blades make it easier to trim around the sides of the nails. As I do not have ingrown toenails, I cannot attest to its efficacy on this issue. But given the shape and quality of the clipper, I would say it probably works. All in all, a decent nail clipper. For the price, it's hard to beat. Read more

These slanted clippers are perfect for hangnails. Sharp and easy to squeeze. Read more
It's a bit on the big side, so you're really only going to get use of these on the big toes. The angle can be tricky to get used to, too, but they do work--provided the in-grown nail is lifted so you can get a good hook in there. To that end, these are pretty good. The grip is solid, and the design is good, it's just slightly larger than I'd want for certain nail issues. Cuts clean, though! Decent price, too. Read more
