This knit turtleneck is a great year round basic! It can easily be layered under under a jacket or another sweater during cool weather months or worn on its own in warmer weather. The color is a really pretty neutral and as expected based on the product images. In terms of sizing, I can fluctuate between a size small and a size medium in tops and blouses. I went with a size small in this one and am happy with the fit. The turtleneck part is designed in a way that it can be folded in or out, which I appreciate. I machine washed it in the delicate cycle and then left it out to hang dry and it seems to hold up well to being laundered. All in all a great staple piece! Read more

So this sleeveless sweater is really cute. I purchased it to wear under other sweaters for a layered look without the bulk of extra sleeves. It is a great beige neutral and will match anything. The fabric is more mid-weight and the knit is wide ribbed. The reason I took off one star is that the construction quality is a bit wonky. The arm holes are very wide and show undergarmets. I am petite so that may be why. The seams on the underside of one of the arm holes where the arm holes meet the sides is pulling apart and it's not even been worn (just washed). Also of note, the seams on the side where the sweater is sewn together are incredibly uneven and it is visible, it almost makes a "wave" type on the front sides of the shirt, which is why I removed one additional star. Because I am wearing this under other sweaters, for me it won't matter but for anyone who is not, just a heads up. Read more

I noticed other reviewers indicating it might be good to size this down, but I ordered this top based on the measurements in the size chart. In most tops I'd order a medium or large, but with this one I went for the extra-large and I'm very happy with it. Instead of clinging to my muffin top, it skims it just as I prefer. When you're a top-heavy woman, buying tops can be tricky, so I always default to my bust size to pick a top and not hip or waist size. For women who aren't top-heavy, going down a size might work. It wouldn't have worked for me, so do consider your body size and where you want this top to hug or float as appropriate. In terms of the feel, this has the nice soft and flowy feel you tend to get from clothing made from viscose. It's wonderful to wear and has nice drape. It is stretchy, but not so stretchy that I think it will stretch out of shape over time. But if you do buy this in a smaller size, it may stretch with time, so do bear that in mind. I like big turtlenecks, so I wasn't bothered by the larger size. I always prefer a true turtleneck over a mock neck. I got this in the beige because I felt it would meld with a variety of pieces in my wardrobe and I wasn't disappointed. It can be paired with jeans or dress slacks. It will look good under a denim jacket or wool blazer. It's very versatile and in that regard can be worn through multiple seasons if you live in a place that has all four as it does where I live. I like this enough that I would consider getting in another color, but I do wish it came in a few other colors like red or baby blue. The armholes are a little large and the stitching at the top and around the neck isn't quite perfect, but neither is so bad that I wouldn't wear this, especially underneath a jacket.
