This is great for what it is - a cheap starter set. If you think you're getting premium plastic then you are wrong - I have spent more than this on a single disc. But, for a starter set, this is definitely worth the price and a great set for a beginner to work with. If you decide to play disc golf regularly then you can start adding to this and upgrading your disc. I will buy a one of these occasionally and give it to a friend that is just getting into disc golf. These are also made of Innova's DX plastic, which is their lowest grade of plastic. They are going to scratch, ding, etc., fairly easily. If you think you want to try disc golf then get this as it is very adequate for a beginner. If you know you are going to play disc golf regularly then it might be worth it to invest in some disc that are made of Champion or Star plastic (from Innova) or some other high-end plastic from another disc manufactuer. I've been watching disc golf for 10 years this year. I bought this starter set 3 years ago. In the past year I've really started playing more and have a whole bag of new disc. Innova is the brand I remember from first time in started watching. This is a great beginner set of disc. I lost the Leopard and immediately bought a max weight Leopard in base plastic and still love to throw it. I putt with 3 Aviars but I don't throw the shark any more. This set is light weight which is great for beginners but eventually you'll want to throw harder and farther and getting heavier disc will help. I also bought another set to give to my son. He was about 10 years old and he likes to play now too. Overall you can't go wrong with a cheaper set of disc like these to try out the sport. If you don't like it you're not out tons of money if you do like it I recommend getting all 3 of these in max weight. It's a great recreational sport that gets you out of the house. You can play casual or try and be competitive with yourself or others. It's cheaper to get into that regular ball golf not only in equipment needed but also most Disc Golf courses are free to play. Our local course is a small 18 hole course at our local city park. This a very rural area but it was really well thought out and is pretty challenging with all the OB and Mandos. Recently went to another town and played at a similar course in a park with a local. Much bigger city and way more people playing at this course and had a blast. I bought this set when a few friends and I decided to try disc golf, and I immediately got hooked. I am a big fan of Innova, and these discs fly perfectly fine for what they are. That said, this truly is a starter pack. The DX plastic wears quickly, the discs are on the lighter side, and it can be hard to get real distance with them. I rarely throw any of these anymore and have since replaced them with other models in higher quality plastics. If you are unsure whether you want to take up disc golf, this is a good and inexpensive way to learn the basics. If you already know you want to stick with the sport, I recommend doing some research and buying the discs you need in a higher quality plastic from the start. Read more

These discs offer great value for the money, especially if you can catch them on sale. The quality seems to be good, and I have been happy with their performance when I play. I also like the colors and designs of the discs that I received, but that may not be the case for everyone as you don't get to choose the colors. I would recommend this disc set for someone who wants to get into disc golf but doesn't want to spend a lot of money on discs, especially if they are not concerned about the colors of the discs.
