Great 7500 watt heater. I already had an existing 14-50r receptacle that was on a 40 amp circuit breaker which matched the requirements for this 7500 watt heater in my 3 car attached insulated garage. My garage is 950 square feet with a 10'6" ceiling height. Set up and installation was a breeze just locate a ceiling joist, I did purchase a longer a 3" long by 3/8" diameter lag bolt as I have 5/8" drywall on my ceiling and the lag bolts that come with the unit are shorter ( made for directly screwing into wood). I used the single lag bolt installation so I could swivel the heater. The supplied 8' power cord is heavy duty and quality made. After the install I put it to the test it was 10 deg. F. outside and 39 deg. F. inside my garage. After 1 hour of running it raised the temp. inside my garage to 50 deg. F., and after 2 hours of running the temp. inside my garage was 65 deg. F.. The temp. reading on the heater was within 2 deg. of what my thermometer in my garage was reading at initial start up but as the temp. was raising inside the garage the temp. reading on the heater was as much as 10 deg. f. higher than the actual temp. but its not the heaters fault because that is to be expected as after mounting it the bottom of the heater was 9' above the floor in my garage. Take note the bottom of the heater needs to be a minimum of 8' above the floor per the instructions. So it was a lot warmer at ceiling height than it was at ground level in the beginning as the heater was working, after running for the 2 hours the temp reading on the heater was back to within 5 deg. f. of the temp. that my thermometer was reading that is mounted at eye level. The heater does have an option to add an external thermostat that will require 14 gauge wire and a mechanical 240v line voltage thermostat if you want to have precise control over the temp., but for me I just only plan on using the heater when I'm doing projects in the garage and do not plan on heating the garage all the time. The fan is pretty quiet and does a decent job of pushing the heat out of the unit. The remote control for this unit works really well and makes it easy to turn on and off and change the temperature. So I would recommend this heater to anyone wanting to get an electric garage heater that will really work. Read more

Exactly what we had hoped for. Heats up the garage in no time, as well as it kicks off once at the desired temp. That was a huge selling point for me as we have it in our garage for the dogs and when not home, I didn’t want it to overheat. Really great purchase. My husband will be buying a second one for his paint bay in his garage. Also.. it’s super quiet. Not sure where the reviews came from that say it’s loud. Highly recommend. (2 car garage use) Size is perfect for the garage Quality is 100%. I have no doubt it will hold up for a very long time. Very happy happy with our purchase. Read more

Powerful little heater! Bought this for my stand alone garage. The space is around 800 sqft with 10ft high walls. The walls and ceiling are insulated with average R-19 insulation. The garage door is cheap and not really insulated. We bought this heater for family gatherings to keep everyone warm. We used it for Thanksgiving and it worked perfect! I just turned it on around 9am that morning and by 2pm it was very comfortable at about 70 degrees. Outside temperature was around 45 degrees. Installation is super simple assuming you already have the needed plug. My favorite part was the heater really wasn't noisy at all, obviously some fan noise but we quickly forgot it was on and several people commented how much quieter it was than our portable propane heater. Just before retirement, I started this woodworking hobby. But it became hard to work in my garage in the cold & winter months. I have a 23’ x 23’ x 8’11” stick frame garage. It has sheet rock on walls and ceiling with no insulation. I first tried using an oil filled space heater, which was okay when it was just cool outside, but when it really got cold it would only heat an exceedingly small area. I then put a forced air propane heater in. These heaters are commonly used in garages, but they are designed for outdoor use and must be properly ventilated. They should never be left on unattended. They heat the entire garage extremely fast. But aging you need to open a door, due to the toxic by-products of the burning fuel. So, I was looking for something I could have on without killing myself and I did not have to be present while it was on. The INOKRAFT 7,500w Electric Garage Heater, from the reviews, looked like it would work. I have only had it for a few weeks, but it works great so far. It was an easy set up. I had most of what I needed already, so extra cost was under $30 for 8g wire and 40amp circuit breaker. I hardwired it to a junction box and put it on a separate electric line. I have it placed about 36” from the corner and pointed towards the floor between the overhead garage doors. I have thermometers in the diagonal corner away from the heater and on the floor near the garage door. Both stay within 4 degrees of the unit reading. And when I took a fan blowing the air off the floor, in about an hour I could t all the temps within 2 degrees. I can not say how durable the unit is yet. But for the size of the unit and under $200, it works well. And it is very quiet, I can still listen to my Jazz while it is on. I have not had this item long enough to give it 5 stars Read more

The heater works great for heating my 500 square foot garage. I had an issue with the original remote and customer support promptly sent a new one. I wish that my electric service provider was more customer friendly. Read more
