I can't stop using this speaker!! It's perfect for listening to podcasts/music when walking my dog. The great thing about this particular speaker is that I can clip it onto my lapel or jacket chest pocket and keep it at a lower level but still hear the sound perfectly and inaudible a couple of feet away. I've always hated individuals who carried around boom boxes or other portable speakers that forced everyone around them to listen to whatever they were listening to. The smaller size makes it easy to carry and despite the size it can put out enough sound to make your ears uncomfortable when wearing in your chest area. Just don't expect it to sound like a home studio speaker of course. Clarity seems to be better with voice type podcasts vs heavy bass music. Haven't had a need to test if it will last 24 hrs of use but it definitely goes for 4-5 hours without any problem. Would definitely purchase again if I decide to get a spare for my wife. Read more

I have had am INSMY shower speaker for several years. I have probably had ten far lesser ones prior to finding that gem. As I was looking for a small portable clip-on speaker, I was ecstatic when I spotted an INSMY-branded speaker just like I wanted. I ordered it immediately. I have found that it checks all of the boxes for me: compact, portable, clip-on, attractive design, solid construction, simple 3-button control, excellent sound quality and volume, rechargeable, Type C port, good battery life, solid Bluetooth connection and range, IP67 waterproof. Wearing ear buds causes inner ear irritation for me these days, and I have a recurring 'water on the ear' problem, even from extended over the ear or on the ear headphone. But, I do a lot of computer work and phone work. I was going to buy a neck speaker, but tried these instead. Glad I did. Decent neck speakers are a little obtrusive and are 5x the price. I wear it clipped on my collar at the lowest volume. I can hear calls or listen to content just fine and not disturb my co-workers. Haven't tested the microphone yet. Unsure of battery life at this time; will update review. Item is high quality. Not premium but not low end junk. Closer to premium than low end junk. Suffice it to say, I am very satisfied with the quality and volume of the sound. Now I can let me inner ear heal and still make and take calls without disturbing others. Read more

It’s been a long time since I was as unequivocally pleased with a purchase as I am with this little speaker. I bought it after I dropped my previous one and it instantly stopped working. This one is so much better. Conveniently small, with a clip (but it would easily fit in your pocket, too), clear sound, plenty of volume (I’m hard of hearing), very easy to operate, AND, I’ve dropped it three times (not intentionally!) and no problems at all. It connects immediately when you push the on button twice. There are only three buttons (volume up, on/off, and volume down) so it’s very easy to use. I have yet to run out of juice; I just plug it in at night and it runs on that charge for many hours. I’m actually glad that old one broke. It was three times bigger, very heavy and awkward to use, only ran for about three hours on a charge, and completely stopped working from being dropped from two feet. A+++ Read more

I've had a number of these wearable speakers. They've all had pros and cons, and all claim to have great sound, but that's very subjective and relative (to similar products). Things that I've wanted are good/full sound, easy/accessible buttons, music track control (on the speaker) and light so I can clip it on my bike shirt. Music track control on the speaker (vs. your phone) is not a gimme on these wearables, but this one has it. Bonuses on this speaker (nice to have's) - IP67, USB-C connector, really good sound (compared to any other that I've had), and a REALLY great price!
