This is the second baby boy I've used these for. My oldest son didn't need them until he was 18 months. I got sick of everything being wet every. single. morning. Fixed the problem immediately and we used them until he was ready for overnight underwear. My second was a heavy wetter from birth. Once the leak-throughs started, I immediately purchased this brand again. They stick perfectly, no bunching in the diaper, the absorbancy is truly astounding, and they fit even in smaller diapers. Son #2 needed them while still in size 2 diapers. For best results with boys, I line the top of the pad up with the top of the front of the diaper, stick it down, and press it down while sliding my hand toward the back of the diaper. That sticks it well while smoothing the wrinkles out from under it so it doesn't wad up. I am so grateful for these boosters. These are amazing for my son, even at 6 months, because he hates to be randomly wet, these make his diapers last longer!! They keep the diapers from leaking and usually cover the diaper from front to back which is great! I can say these will fit front to back in size 2 diapers. Bought these a few times now because my 18 month old sleeps 12+ hours most nights, especially on her tummy, and leaks were becoming too frequent in the mornings. These pads are almost always helpful with their absorbency, but when they're not it's SO much worse than just changing the diaper and sheets... There have been too many times now where the top of the pad has burst open and tons of tiny silicone beads are clumped up and covering all over her throughout the diaper! It's not only such an annoyance and difficulty to clean up, but it freaks me out at the thought of any of it getting inside or affecting her physically. Thankfully, so far nothing like that has been noticeable, but it's still a concern, and I will hate to have to stop using these on her. Aside from the pads that have burst, she seems comfortable with the padded diapers, and has had no signs of rash or discomfort. When my baby started sleeping on his tummy at four months old, he was consistently leaking through the night — always up the front of his diaper. I decided to try these booster pads and started placing one across his tummy before bedtime. Ever since then, we haven’t had a single leaky diaper in the morning!
